Unfortunately start work today as the livestream starts, so ill be completely offline till I can rush home and watch it from the start.
But as a last little wish, I'd love for them to add in some playable races to round out some of the ones they've missed that are canonically in the factions.
Ogres were originally intended to be on the Horde, and they swapped them out for trolls last minute. I think its time. Alliance could get Furlbog on their side, although High elf would be a way more popular choice, if that's ever going to be a possibility it'd be saved for Midnight. (I don't need 500 replies about how its never happening thanks)
Would be a nice little surprise at the end of the direct, they could even add both these races into Retail and classic, old rez models and high rez. ++ points if it comes with Siren Ilse.
By this I don't mean allied races. - I mean base faction, with a starting zone, races. Set it in cata, I don't care.
There isn't a foreseeable best time to add Ogres in, and with the focus on newer races being allied races there's less and less chance to get some of the classics (terrible) will there ever be a better time to add them in then a 20year anniversary direct stream remembering the games roots?

I think you got a point tbh. The idea of going for two seperate faction based races, with their own unique starting zone, leading up to join the factions is something I would love to return to. It had its own charm and I miss that.
So far the races we gained, all meant nothing to me. Long time favorites are still missing. Ogres are one of them. Personally I have a Vrykul wish since wrath. Maybe TLT will help with that, but we will probably ens up with diamond dwarves or something stupid such as the horronir who were just invented. Simply dont care for them. Expectations are absolutely zero on my side tbf.
All I want to see is a preview of 11.1, perhaps a trailer alongside it and a release date for MoP Classic, ideally before summer (unlikely but why not lol). Anything else is a bonus imo
Shamans for all races would be amazing but I've stopped hoping for that.

I do not know the name of the guy, but the site is important enough to have interviewed Ion himself two times, among other developers.
I discovered the website relatively recently, as I used to visit only English wow-related sites. It has fairly interesting information. For example, this is from 19 hours ago: https://altertime.es/article/blizzar...en-la-compania
Seems that Blizzard hired quite a bit of people for a new game fairly recently.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

Well that's a familiar name- that's the same site that allegedly claimed that Blizzard slipped up and told them that there would be multiple new classes during the Worldsoul Saga.
I don't know anything beyond that so I have no idea how credible they are- either they really have connections and are willing to tease us using them, or they just like to start rumors. I can't even see this being the same rumor, since as much as I'd always love to get new class, I can't see it being the biggest thing for this franchise since WoW's launch. It just seems interesting to note that both of these rumors are coming from the same place.
They did announce a few months ago that they were working on a new game. Which is still wild to me because they started this after they had cancelled that survival game which was already in development for multiple years.

I suggest people not hype themselves up for this special announcement thingy. It could literally be anything, both big and small. If it was something really big I don't really understand why they wouldn't wait until next year to announce it at Blizzcon. They could just tease it this time and and fully announce it then but still.
But yeah, it could literally be anything.
In the cities, sure. That would potentially be a bit of a strong theme. I am more so talking about Elwynn and Durotar though.
It would be a very boring way to start. But I think that is important to ensure it can be given time to grow organically.
Once it has become properly established and the mechanics of how housing would work, then Blizzard could add plots in different zones for variety.
The most important thing for me though is that it is in EK or Kalimdor. And if not, then something like reusing the Island Expedition maps. Something to ensure the housing is as far removed from any one single expansion as possible in terms of themes.
This is why I think it would make sense to have it in Midnight. Place it in Gilneas and Lordaeron. Frame it as the players getting a house to help repopulate. And enjoy the benefits of housing being placed in cities that should ideally continue to be important in future expansion, unlike something like Valdrakken, Shattrath, Zuldazar, etc.

I'll start by saying, I don't expect housing.
If we did get housing, I would hope it would be like ESO. So potentially added in every zone and letting people just collect as many houses as they want. On its launch I'd hope they'd add houses at faction capitals and whatever the current expac capital is at the very least and then slowly over the years add houses in their massive backlog of zones and town.

Not sure whether it's legit, but there has been a supposed leak posted on polish facebook group regarding classic roadmap.

The world revamp dream will never die!
There's no way housing would be announced at Direct. Blizz already said one feature in Midnight would 'knock our socks off' - so it would probably be then if it was ever going to come. World revamp is also too major a thing to be dropped here (as much as I'd love it)
I'm expecting Wow on Xbox game pass and 11.1 info, plus a roadmap for 2025.

I like how it's a screenshot and not a photo, and yet it's STILL blurry as fuck.
Yeah, in my mind the best way to go about it is to start with focusin on the mechanics of how Housing works to start with. Whether you place items on a grid or freely. Whether items placed is limited by a specific number of doodads, or whether the items have point values, etc.
Then once you know that works, slowly start adding in stuff like doodads from old raids or expansions through something probably similar to Raiding with Leashes or other meta achievements.
As I said earlier though. I think the ideal places currently is SW or Orgrimmar as of right now. And with Midnight Gilneas and Lordaeron as both could do with some more houses, and player housing is a good excuse to fill the blank areas that are unlikely to get reused for actual questing. Bel'ameth is also a decent option for Night Elf stuff specifically, though I can't really think of a Horde equivalent. Probably Silvermoon in Midnight though.
And of course, a bit more out there. But I think reusing the Island Expedition maps could work if the idea is to have a wide variety of themes for your house. The maps are small, and probably wouldnt take lots of space. The fact that they are islands also means it's easy to add a physical connection to them via the SW or Orgrimmar docks if letting other players come visit is important.
