Sadly true. It may look better ingame if we can see our own characters in it though. If not, than I don't understand why they use the "cheep" cinematic style for it again, as that was the only purpose these kind of cinematics had anyways.

We should get some lead in to the next patch. I assume we aren't getting new story content in 11.0.5 given it is all focused on the anniversary so we are likely waiting for 2025 to get more story. They should leave us with something, no?

Warcraft Direct. What else would they talk about than 11.0.7, 11.1 and maybe even small glimpse into end like Argus/N'zoth fish? I don't think we have date yet, but I got impression it will be around all anniversary buzz, so I expect November.

Also I hope even 11.0.5 will have some story chapter, even if it will be breather. No matter what you think about DF, having some story in every patch from 10.0.7 was amazing.

There's a lot wrong with objectifying female body parts. And it's blatant objectification, because the constant display of her feet adds nothing to the plot. It's like Tarantino's movies, but at least he admits that it's a blatant fetish for him.

Xals feet are in the cinematics because they want to show that she is flying and she is also "above" the people she is talking to. How else do you show this without her feet being in the shot?

Its not objectification, they just keep using the same shot for that reason.

People kept whining about Sigma in OW because people just have a visceral reaction to bare feet.

The Sarkareth cinematic had really strong thematic heft to it though. Sure, it didn't build to something greater or anything like that, but it was a strong ending to Sarkareths arc.

I don't think any portrayal of Xal'atath's bare feet have been objectifying or pornographic. You're basically just saying characters are required to wear shoes at all times.

That's another reason why panel about upcoming big patch (before next small ones) is good idea. We get spoiled about both underground zone and emerald dream through datamining of small patches, so both reveals of actual big patch were flat.
