Even if Vyranoth ends up moving away from Iridikron, why would she suddenly do a full 180 and embrace the titans magic to form another aspectral flight?

If anything she would simply become neutral, or form a purely political 'primal' flight.

That silver scale just reads as a Chekhov's gun to me. If you introduce a silver dragon scale, it opens the door to there being silver dragon introduced later on. And complete 180 is how Blizzard writes characters. Rarely do their opinions move in increments. Their idea of character development (if a character develops at all) is often the near-complete reinvention of the character after an inciting incident.

It doesn't really hit the marks for that trope. It's far to important right out the gate and gets too much attention over the course of the story involving it.

McGuffin fits better for the way its used, and any connection to a Silver flight is unlikely.

I mean, we pretty much already learned it's purpose. It was a failsafe for Tyr, containing access codes for Tyrhold and the blueprint for his body.

Completely wild speculation on the scale, but, with Vyranoth being the incarnate most likely to join our side, could be tied there. They offered to make her aspect of a silver flight but she turned it down or similar, or she'll be wounded in Indrikron's inevitable takedown of Fryak once he inevitably goes crazy and decide to jump ship, and we'll use it to heal her or something

Eh. Personally I am a fan of darker content. I don't believe there are themes too taboo to explore in media. However with that said, you still need to give these darker themes the proper gravity to show them respect and how they impact real life individuals. Otherwise its just cheap and gratuitous. WoW already does an awful job with this as every level. Tackling rape is just so far out of scope from them.

I don't think anyone is saying "X content shouldn't exist at all" it's that we want it handled with the gravity and skill it needs... And Blizz ain't got it.

I'm still anticipating the creation of a new flight, if not a "reoriginating" of one or more existing flights into a new one. A metallic dragonflight, specifically. Likely silver.

I agree, either silver or another non-metallic colour like Violet. But Silver is a strong candidate and it can relate to the infinite, Tyr and the yet unavailable white drakes.

The main issue is that their worldviews are wholly irreconcilable: the Bronze Dragonflight are focused on the preservation of the timeways over all else, whereas the Infinite Dragonflight are absolutely willing to distort the proper flow of time to prevent the travesties that occur along the way. It's difficult to imagine them putting aside what is presumably a very, very long parachronological period of violent conflict between the two, or to have the Bronze Dragonflight compromise on their charge at the urging of their hated enemies. What could possibly serve as a sensible and realistic catalyst for a mending of tensions between them? I could see some value in the Infinite Dragonflight somehow being vindicated and for us to start questioning whose side we really ought to take,—at least partially, such as by having the validity of the prime timeline put into question as anything more than the preferred course of events for the Titans in particular,—but there doesn't seem to be much incentive for the two Dragonflights to abruptly discard the doubtlessly-extraordinary hatred between them.

What's that about? Videogames are an escape from reality. You should be able to be, do and see things impossible or taboo in real life. That's the whole point. Fulfilling a fantasy. I don't play a game to be reminded of reality. I've got that 24\7.

Tyr expansion (11.0)
The main enemy of this expansion is Tyr along with the Stoneforged, an army of automatons he created by spreading what is basically the opposite of the Curse of Flesh. Along with other Titan Keepers like Odyn, the Stoneforged have attacked Avaloren which holds the secret to resisting the Titans. Avaloren is home to the true Elemental Lords who were not controlled by the Pantheon, each lord controlling a different city-state here. Each city-stage serves as a capital city rather than having one centralized hub. One of the local races of Avaloren, an Azerothian feline humanoid species, is added as a neutral race. There is one stronghold per zone, these being outdoors, non-instanced evolutions of the garrison idea. They are tied to the story and power progression rather than being replacements for cities, and players have to develop all three strongholds rather than picking just one. Later in the expansion, the rest of the Pantheon along with an ordered Sargeras invade Azeroth. Illidan returns as a Stoneforged champion. Demon Hunters get an arcane-themed third spec.

Light expansion (12.0)
Expansion starts with the Dark Portal reopening to alternative Draenor, bringing the Lightbound, Yrel, and Xe’ra into Azeroth. Under Turaylon (now declared High King, rather than simply regent), the Alliance joins the Lightbound in its crusade on Azeroth. Alliance player characters are a part of a Horde-aligned resistance led by Mekkatorque and Alleria. The entire expansion takes place in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor (aside from the Shattrath raid). The entire continents are not revamped, only the specific zones that are used for 80-90 content. The revamps are separate phases for these levels and do not affect the lower level leveling experience. The capital city is Dalaran, safely over the Maelstrom and one of the few cities not taken by the Lightbound. More character customization options in the way of new body types for multiple races, complete with new voices, rigs, and animations. A basic, modular version of player housing is planned for old world zones not under Lightbound attack. Sailing gets introduced in the Tel Abim patch, opening up treasure hunts, naval combat, and the ability to go between all continents on Azeroth seamlessly without loading screens. After the Stormwind raid, the Alliance is disbanded, and the Horde dissolves afterwards with their rival removed. The expansion ends with Elune, the sole remaining member of the Pantheon of Light, being sealed away.

Void expansion (13.0)
This is the first expansion since Shadowlands to take place outside of Azeroth, instead focusing on the shattered world of K’aresh. The idea is to have the planet based on Middle Eastern, cyberpunk, and Romani mystic themes. We are brought there when an alien species from a destroyed world comes to Azeroth to warn us that the Void Lords have entered the Great Dark Beyond and are devouring worlds, with K’aresh as the gateway to the realm of Void. The main villains besides the Void Lord pantheon are Xal’atath, Alleria and Azshara. Ethereals are added as a neutral race along with an Artificer class available to all races. There are no friendly cities on K’aresh, instead having all city amenities found in most small settlements. New PvP mode with custom ‘battlegrounds’ where some players play enemy factions (such as those aligned with the Void) with their own stats, abilities and playstyles. Players will be able to swap out classes, being able to level each on a single character (since by this point it is assumed all classes will be available for all races, including Dracthyr and Evokers). The storyline is different for each player since there are branching quest lines and decisions. Ultimately they are all canon since the Void is within all possibilities, though they all converge together at the end with the defeat of the Cosmic forces. The end sets up an alien empire with their own form of magic as the new long-term threat of the Warcraft universe.
