Even though Ansurek is pretty one-note, the Kaheti story is really interesting and I like the side characters a lot (including Neferess). I really hope the Ascended become playable as there is some amazing lore setup with them and it would be cool to have another void-oriented race besides Void Elf.

They did a great job really making the Nerubians feel like the focus rather than just Ansuerk. I really hope their arc continues in TLT and we get to see them rebuild their empire some

But seriously I do wonder if there's supposed to be some symbolism in the bare feet.

She floats everywhere. You don't need shoes if you never walk. Baron Harkonnen is also barefoot.

So, the Nerubians and the Ascendent were nothing more than canon fodder. Xal just want to distract the factions and heroes from her main goal, mostly likely the Sunwell.

I don't think it was intended, in the writing, for the Raid Cinematic to happen after the Campaign Cinematic finale. So the raid cinematic is supposed to come before the destruction of the Dark Heart artifact. The nerubian attack happening at the beginning of the final chapter is the diversion she's talking about.

With Ansurek's story having a few parallels to Azshara's(A queen who made a deal with an old god/void creature to transform her people), I thought for a bit there that the raid's going to have a similar ending to Eternal Palace.

Which is to say I'm surprised she didn't get reAnsurekted.

Expansion or patch? Next expansion will certainly be Xal'atath and some void lord.

A Rootlands patch would maybe be a continuation of the Black Blood thematic, maybe a form of the Nightmare or echoes of Keeprs & Watchers. An Undermine patch would probably be some form of a bad goblin group and ethereals to guess.

Next expansion is one of 3 imo:

1. Azshara (Void amplified)

2. Dimensius (we fight the Void Lord in its realm, with the forces of Light aiding us)

Or 3 (and hear me out on this). K'aresh, who was turned into a Void Lord by Dimensius in secret. Would be a good surprise, considering it's implied the worldsoul got devoured by Dimensius, but we haven't actually seen it *wink* *wink*

Delves are actually quite challenging huh I thought they'd be a walk in the park but not really. Getting my ass handed to me on Spriest lol

Because i just ran a delve as shadow to see how the spec fares.
And while fun in gameplay, Shadows self-healing is nonexistent.

Devouring Plague might as well not heal at all and my health bar barely budged while under Vampiric Embrace and popping all my cds.

Nothing that we didn't know already. She's in the palace to be close to ansurek and kill her if necessary. It's not quite clear if she is send by the ethereum or xalatath directly though. She is talking to a void portal when we enter her room, but could be both. Once we beat her, she dissapears and leaves the queen to us.

Shadows self healing is fine(ish). But priest can't kite, has no armor and no def cd's so they have to facetank all the damage. In solo content you often take huge amounts of unavoidable damage other classes like ret can just ignore.

are just the obvious options as of yet.

There's still small threads to follow like the Freysworn, Nexus Princess Ky'veza and the Ethereal, the Worldsoul itself, the Black Blood of whatever Old God was struck by Sargeras' sword.

And there's still yet to be a clear and substantial thread to Quel'thalas & the Sunwell (aside from Alleria).

This one is thought out and allows for a ton of options to be pursued or picked up later on. Blizz did great here.

Hehe yeah doesn't help that self healing is pretty useless and our silence has a long cd.

I'm definitely lower ilvl for some but still I'm fairly sure i wouldn't be struggling so much on my Paladin for example.
Still pretty fun nonetheless but it's just made me hate Priests

Really no clue how melee classes without heavy self heal do it, when a group of 3 tiny kobolds can do 2 million damage in just the initial melee swing, not even a cast going off yet nothing avoidable about it, and I was "just" running a 7.

TBH I would dread doing delves solo on a caster. My Havok DH is doing ok but I sure feel squishy in this expansion compared to previous ones
