Yeah I definitely think the writers took the idea of the fifth old god being connected to roots and ran with it based on that illustration, leading to Xals first expansion being one with giant roots everywhere. Whether or not it has been secretly planned for a while that there's another world tree underground is up in the air. I could also see an old idea being that she would be tied to Teldrassil/Amirdrassil but that was scrapped.
That crystal in the "Xal" old god mural could be connected to the "giant flower" hinted at in a nerubian text. Hell, she could've come from a crystal like Beledar that is now purified by Elun'ahir, creating the flower, and she wantd the crystal back.
Actually, you want a crackpot theory? Kaja'mite is green because it is part of a worldsoul crystal infused with Life and/or Spirit magic, which may or may not be connected to Elun'ahir. Orwenya will eventually see Kajamite (she hasn't yet) and mention how it is similar to stuff from the Rootlands. Leading to the "Homecoming" chapter where she realizes that's why we all have to go there.

Got gold in all of the normal Undermine courses. While it does have it's moments where the movement glitches (PTR's gotta PTR, ya know?), this has been really fun lmaooo

Honestly, I think y'all should have the top speed, acceleration, and speed boost amps for when y'all are experienced at this. Otherwise, a lot of the complaints I've seen regarding the Cars speed are genuinely skill based.

When I said this was Need for Speed but in WoW, I meant it. Get on the PTR and practice, y'all!
I'm still confused at times what they are called officially. Doesn't help that the german localization uses both terms for some reason.
I don't think they are the same. They are both essentially earthen with free will granted by azeroth, but the thraegar from legend have been transformed into living crystal. Thats why magni is instantly recognized as one. Probably also the reason why the thraegar memorial is a giant crystal formation.
On the topic of Medivh… he is still alive and roaming around the twisting nether as of Legion. It would be interesting to see if blizzard ever brings him back & how they’d do so.
(I’m personally still expecting a reforged Atiesh legendary after Xal’atath shattered it in the Dalaran cinematic. Would be cool for him to make a cameo to help repair it in some way.)
I kind of figured he would be an Illidan type in a void expansion before the announcement of Midnight, but now I'm not so sure. Is Khadgar still technically the Guardian of Tirisfal? Perhaps we see him commune with Medivh again to discuss appointing a new Guardian since they seem to be leaning towards a bit of retirement for Khadgar after his confrontation with Xal'atath.
EDIT: Lol, what an insanely wild twist it would be if they finally made Med'an canon in Midnight.

Oh damn, I hadn't considered that. The Old Gods did a lot of work on the Worldsoul, maybe it was never really cleansed by the Titans, just contained.
And if not the Worldsoul itself, then maybe those fragments. Maybe that's why these chunks of the Worldsoul's essence exist at all, the Worldsoul expelled fragments of itself that were corrupted by the Void, like hacking off a diseased limb. It isolated the Void corruption in discarded pieces of itself, and now that corruption has been festering and getting stronger all this time, hence Beledar's 'dark' phases getting longer.

Beledar's normal state being Void and the LIGHT version being the "corrupted" form would be an insane twist. And if Xal was born from Void-turned Azeroth and/or Beledar wayyyyyy before the Titans imprisoned her. Do we actually have confirmation the Old Gods "landed" on Azeroth, or could they have been born from it?
That could be why the Old Gods were as powerful as they were and one of the "secrets of the Black Empire" Odyn didn't want getting out: Azeroth used to be Void-aligned. Also why it's called "The Awakening" instead of a Corruption or something similar, because it's just waking Azeroth up from stasis vs having to turn her to Void.
11.2- Worldcore and Rootlands- Xal "dies" but breaks opens the worldcore using bloodied roots, revealing Azeroth's true form (Void + Light + Order mutations mixed)
12.0- We have to go to the Sunwell to PURIFY the Worldsoul as opposed to the expansion focus being saving the Sunwell (could just be the launch story)
13.0- Worldsoul is purified into Light, but this + broken Worldcore irritates the Titans, kicking off TLT

The Delve Great Vault is just a bug and not intended, confirmed by blue post. S2 will have same requirements as s1

I still think the Worldsoul is meant to have all 6 forces within it. Goes with the cosmology stuff as well.

So since I have experience driving the car now, I decided to increase the top speed of my vehicle...
It's not bad at all. In fact, it handles like a dream outside of some turning or general handling bugs that are more-so the result of the PTR being PTR, and not of the car's intended functions as a whole. Gonna try acceleration now, and then I'll see how the boost stuff handles, but the boosts aren't really a concern for me regardless, since I have that on average.
So far though? It ain't too fast at all. I do wish we can eventually use it outside Undermine however.

Just used the acceleration boost. Definitely has more of a kick to it, but again, it's perfectly fine lol.
This literally just feels like a Need for Speed car. I love it.
I don't think the Worldsouls follow the rules of the cosmology. Per the Sepulcher, Bodies were built for them, the Titans & Eternal Ones just needed a World Soul implanted within them, like a mortal soul inside a body. A reminder to us that the Cosmology is not actually natural. The Worldsouls are this awesome power that isn't constrained in that way.
But the soul itself determines the actual personality of the soul. Which would explain things like, Freya & the Winter Queen having powers that revolve around life, but being members of pantheon of order/death respectively, etc.

Pantheons can be associated with different forces, yes. However, the Eternal Ones are the Pantheon of Death and embody that force in the cosmology. The Dark Beyond is meant to be a straight up culmination of all 6 forces. Why shouldn't the Worldsouls embody that combination?

Heck, if anything, I'd argue this would make beings like Azeroth the most important factors of the Progenitors design.

They did the same for the expansion launch and made a hotfix. If they initiated patch 11.1 with the same base patching for the previous PTR the initial build would follow through.
Some times Blizzard may actually do a technical error without some sinister and evil thought behind it. Its not like this was happening in the live patch of 11.1. When Blizzard go through with these things they wait until the live backlash and go through months on the PTR without listening. I thought you knew this.

Huh? What do you mean? The Dark Beyond is just space.
Clearly Worldsouls are the most important factors of the Progenitors design, but if the First Ones' designed them why did the Titans spend millennia looking for Azeroth, a worldsoul that can make other worldsouls. If they made it wouldn't they know where it is? Or rather, wouldn't the First Ones have told the Titans exactly how to find it?
Seems like Argus & Freya's unique powers were not part of the First One's plan.

How do you think the Great Dark Beyond came to be though?
Also, Argus was a unique case and likely wasn't the intended outcome for a Worldsoul lol. As for Eonar? She has connections with Life. Elune has connections with other forces as well. The pattern literally has it to where these forces and their pantheons can intersect and work with one another.
