    I can't believe how much blizzard is detached from its community and what blizz 'creates' by themselves - there's nothing to think about, and of course 99% of the community want papa blizz to FINALLY add the tinker class to the game. This is the last class that is lore-wise from the times of the RTS warcraft game and which is still not in WoW. The next big patch is about the city of goblins - tinkers - it's the perfect time to create a starting zone and place them in the 'current' lore.

    If its taking a page from Hearthstone, it's probably a set number of combinations that lead to a certain ability.

    For example, there's probably option 1 where you choose three things (6 possible options) Example: Robot mobility (legs, treads, spider walker, etc)
    Then there's option 2 where you choose three more things. (6 possible options) Example: Weapon systems (Guns, Missiles, Flame throwers, etc.)
    Then there's option 3 where you choose three more things. (6 possible options) Example: Additional effect (Explodes when expires, Poisons target, AoE heal, etc.)

    Your choices create a varied (yet controlled) outcome that still gives you the sense of randomness. Personally those are some of my favorite cards in Hearthstone.

    Also, the Seventh Power is something that's only STARTED to be properly discussed in SL. The mystery of this power, alongside the mystery of the Progenitors as a whole, is meant to last for quite a while. Blizzard did not expect players to solve said mysteries in Eternity's End.

    However, what Blizzard doesn't know is this...

Tinker class has several possibilities, imagine putting a Tesla coil in the battle compo, controlling drones, laser, mecha, holograms, bombs, turrets, creating an energy cage, etc...     I completely agree. I'm honestly a bit surprised we're not seeing a tinker class here in Khaz Algar, especially considering we're visiting Undermine this expansion. The machine speakers and goblin cartels are enough to justify it.

    I'm interested the route in which it's taken if it comes about, though. There are a lot of different techs that seem to be tied to race Draenei, Mag'har, Goblins, Gnomes, Mechagnomes, Nightborne, Blood Elves, Dwarves and Earthen all have their own distinct flairs. Is it racially based in aesthetic, or will they make it Titan material based

    My copium fever dreams are still hyped for a 11.1.X Tinker class release… it has to be happening… right?!?! Ha

    It’s just such a perfect storm of content. I’ll be thrilled to have a tech class if/when it’s released but it’ll feel EXTREMELY weird to go through this xpac without a tech class. Unless this is only the beginning and it’s about to get a lot more techy.

    If they did it, they could do each race with the option is like druid and gets their own aesthetic. Then, the "hero talents" are the titan tech, fel tech, light tech stuff. Then titan/light can go to tank; titan/fel can go to dps, and light/fel can go to "ranged dps" or support.

    This would also explain why we wouldn't see it until end of Midnight/beginning of Last titan. To align with the hero talents. From a design standpoint, it's a lot of assets just like druid.

    This is possible, but the thing that comes to mine is the lack of class expansion for paladins, shamans and druids solely because of art assets. I would hope they allow customization based on racial aesthetics, but I think they'd need to hurdle the classes that are already there.

    Entering this expansion, I think it would've made sense that there isn't a Tinker class, but the further we get I'm more confused. Even the Arathi are pretty tech based. This is the perfect opportunity for it, and if we assume 12.0 will have a Void based class, then we either see it in 13.0 or never.

    Makes sense that they would have a tank spec from a design perspective, but wow really doesn't "need" a new tank.

    I can just recommend to look up the engineer from guild wars 2. The base class is a bit bland and nothing special to be honest, but the hero specs scrapper and holosmith are great. Mechanist are fun, but i hope they don't get inspired by them and turn the mech into a pet. I think this would piss off a lot of people. Me included and im not even a huge tinker enthusiast.

    Quite likely it's going to be similar to Mimiron-tech, since it's titan-based and rides the line of Gnome, Goblin, and Earthen.

    I understand sir! The point is that I see the tinker class with a wide range of possibilities, not only placing towers, you know, but... imagine putting a tesla coil in the battle composition to buff, control drones, laser weapons, mecha (like in the movie Pacific Rim), holograms, bombs, robots, create an energy cage, plasma pulse, etc...

    Titankiller would be really cool yeah, having the balance of what's basically demonic vs some val'kyr / titan watcher spec is really hyping me. I also love the Witch concept of having old ways of casting spells. Would be a clever mix of shaman, mage and druid. But witch is a shitty name.
