If it is World Revamp and Blizz go with the route of merging zones together to make them larger to change terrain and accommodate dragon riding; how do we see the zones merging?
I think we could see:
Kalimdor:
Uldum, Silithus, Un’goro, Tanaris
Desolace, Feralas, Thousand Needles
Mulgore, The Barrens, Dustwallow
Durotar, Azshara
Ashenvale, Felwood, Stonetalon
Hyjal, Winterspring
Azuremyst, Bloodmyst
Darkshore and Teldrassil’s remains as an endgame zone.
Eastern Kingdoms:
Elwynn, Westfall, Redbridge
Duskwood, Deadwind
Swamp of Sorrows, Blasted Lands
Burning Steppes, Searing Gorge, Badlands
Dun Morogh, Loch Modan,
Wetlands, Twilight Highlands
Arathi, Hillsbrad, Hinterlands
Gilneas, Silverpine
Tirisfal, WPL, EPL
Eversong, Ghostlands
Stranglethorn as an endgame zone.
As a bit of fun I’m just gonna brainstorm some dungeons.
Kalimdor:
Mean Streets of Gadgetztan
Timbermaw Hold
Isle of Dread
The Wyrmbog
Everbloom Caverns
Ruins of Darnassus as a raid.
Eastern Kingdoms:
Karazhan Depths
Deatholme
Jintha’Alor
Stonewatch Keep
Greymane Manor

I'm going to check out the Orc Heritage chain quest later.
If there are any hints rn ingame, one must be on that Heritage chain, just like the Tauren Heritage back in BFA.
With all Miltiverse and time-travel by microverse or some 88 MpH, i would not deny a possibility that Blizzard can take a bait and say "Why not, sure in second time we not gonna fail it" and just like a Barry understanding that he must allow someone to kill his mother (blows a mind ye?) so he can get a powers to save a world in future, then miserably fails at doing so and goes back in time once again.
RUN ION RUN!
(funny how Avengers: Endgame uses same badly written plot, but cameos and RDJ saving it, while Flash just dips toe in time travel to erase whole world population and he not even Thanos)
Thrall being the wow rep has got me curious..
In all honesty it's likely that as we've missed a couple of blizzcons now he's just one of most recognizable wow characters for players who have left the game, could grab the most attention.
To preface, I feel a revamp at this point is unlikely. But, if it's ever going to happen. This blizzcon with all the anniversaries is the time to do it. Just to speculate, if we acknowledge dragonflights attempt to return to roots they're going to want to build upon that right now. Thralls one of the many characters certain to be In the forefront of an expansion like that.
I'm reminded of that I believe Chinese leaker (or at least predicter) who got most of the settings right so far, who suggested an elemental expansion is next.
Although I don't think an elemental expansion is at all likely after what we've faced, if a revamp is something they're going to do and most of the old world is still stuck with the elemental fallout of cataclysm, and the elemental lords (any elemental characters or lore whatsoever) has been so strangely left out of the primalist threat, this could be it.
New expansion is building on what dragonflight started with reawakening the ilses, with healing the world. We work with the elemental lords and red dragonflight to find out wtf happened to the elements, and heal the old world throughout the expansion.
Thrall has a convenient story ready too. He's lost his way with the elements, and him finding it again would fit nicely with the theme of renewal and finding roots blizzard will want to push.
The only ways I can think of this working right this second are:
Alexstraza isn't doing so much so far in the expansion. I wonder if her flying around the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor dive bombing Fyrakk style to heal the scarred places of the continents back to their natural state pre-cataclysm could anger Tyr at all. Maybe it would cause lifeforms to be reborn in their natural state, landmasses and rivers to run in ways the titans and their constructs hadn't ordered. Possibly this could include the titans and constructs as the baddies, and would lead on quite nicely from dragonflight imo. Maybe that'd be the races of the worlds reward for helping protect her home, she heals ours.
Or the factions of the world work through the expansion to manually fix, change, update things in a world progress bar instead of solo story content. Work with the druids and shamans of the earthen ring to heal the scar in the barrens, or work with the Dwarves and gnomes to repair the damn in loch modan? With dragonflight patch cadence I can imagine if we are fixing 3 or so zones a continent a patch, we'd be close to finished by the end of the expansion. But this would leave out a villain/threat. But this way we'd get a tasty darkshore/arathi styled update for each zone.
I honestly for the first time in a long time can't decide which way they're going next, I think the last time I was really surprised by the setting of an expansion was WoD possibly? It feels good to get the pre blizzcon juices flowing either way. Whatever the end result, I'm certain the cinematic for this next expansion will be a belter. It's gunna be large.

"Elements" has a pretty massive reach. One could argue Cataclysm was elemental theme as a whole, and it has a huge variety of stories and aesthetics.
Also makes a lot of sense with the rumoured old world revamp; elements + renewal would be nice to see so we can get back to the basics.
I've also personally thought that we cannot have more proper faction conflict stuff without actually getting everybody (every race and both factions) back to a point where people are excited about what they play, and have stuff worth fighting for and defending. Revamp to build things back up, before we go back to smaller conflicts like we had prior to BFA would be nice.
Chart makes sense.

Arthas and Sylvanas are off the map, Malf and Jaina can just as easily be Hearthstone reps and indeed were just two days ago. This is the first Blizzcon in years and Thrall is, for better or worse, one of the last classic characters left who's immediately associable with the franchise. I wouldn't look much into it past that.
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.
Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.
Mind, I also heavily doubt Elementals are next. Dragonflight, much like Cataclysm is also an elemental expansion. The Incarnates are associated with the elements, many of their minions are elementals, you've more of the fuckers running around than at any time since Cata and the Primalist objective is to explicitly retvrn to a time closer to when they ruled the world. They're out of focus amidst the dragon drama, but they're there and I don't see much hope for another air/water/fire/earth themed set of baddies after a villain cast of identically themed dragons and raids like VoI.

What would happen if Iridikron somehow reversed Ra and Helya's magic that bound Azeroth's elementals to the effective prison of the Elemental Plane? It is perhaps the greatest intervention of the Keepers to the natural order, perverting a key component of the physical universe (elementals seem to exist everywhere in it).
I would assume that to begin with, it would displace the elemental lords and their minions back to Azeroth. It is possible they would try to reclaim their original domains? Ragnaros' original domain likely was the Molten Core (the map places it right on Blackrock Mountain) and Al'akir (and so now Thunderaan) was in Uldum. Neptulon and Therazane don't map up as well; I'd say Neptulon seems to be Darkshore/Stonetalon coast and Therazane's domain would presumably be underground at a point between Lordaeron and Northrend. Ofc they may not have a metaphysical association with those places which would mean they could go anywhere.
Are elementals immortals that will effectively respawn somewhere in Azeroth when killed? The Draenor Furies do seem to respawn given that Gordawg's spirit returns to the Throne of the Elements (presumably to later resurrect). Is there a location similar to the Throne for them (their original domains before the Black Empire)?
If there won't be any world revamp i at least hope from customization side, there will be another go at character models like in WoD to bring it closer to "unique" NPC's now, much more options for everything because let's be honest - MMO like WoW in 2023/24 when it comes to character creation customization options, the choices there are really small, most faces(besides human) look the same, trolls still dont have beard options for example.
Overall every option like piercings, tusks, tattoos, necklaces etc should be added for all races and doubled in numbers overall.
Humans have the most options available with like 36 face types, so they should at least bring all other races customization choices, closer to human race.
