Encrypted vendor client is already up for 11.2. Boss, I'm tired.

I love the New York/Las Vegas vibes of Undermine. Not sure how y'all don't fw it.

I mean, at least it is freight train mode for the next foreseeable future with this game and we also get a good time at Gamescom.

No, I do not think there was any better ideas than Undermine(d) for X.1. I just hate the neglectful state of the A Plot and how unserious they take it.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

Hoping for some more housing updates til Midnight. That way, we can see how things are slowly but surely being developed til August. Then, once August hits and Gamescom occurs, we can officially see video footage of the housing feature.

I have a gut feeling it'll be sooner than that with 11.1.5 PTR probably being this week or early next, but I hope you are right.

For obvious reasons I think they want Midnight out there as soon as possible. Not saying TWW isn't strong but they want to keep the really hype momentum going, and Rootworld isn't going to cut it.

Nightfall... mayyyybe. And Haranir will be hype to some people but not as much as Old World HD.

Also Rootlands reveal (or what it LIKELY is, unless Homecoming refers to Quel'thalas which would be insane lol) is as early as next week. They want Midnight NOW.

Could maybe be about Magni and Moira returning to Ironforge too (since they left in the Siren Isle patch) if they're not actually leaving the story, but Orwenya deciding to go home seems like the most likely route by far.

It's clear Undercooked could have used some more development time.

I want Midnight now too. I don't think I've been so excited for an expansion since Legion, and we know barely anything about it. Mainly I just really want to see what direction they take it in because it's really difficult to speculate about TLT until we know how they're handling the revamp/revisit.

Re story pacing, I do think the structure of the first major patch being a side story is just an awful idea, especially when it's the D plot because the A plot (Xal'atath and Alleria) and the B plot (Hallowfall and Anduin) have been fused together and the C plot (Earthen rebellion) is on the backburner. I think they're trying to make an epic where all of the stories come together to bolster the main plot, but instead Xal'atath is just floating around cannibalising each storyline one by one, and only one will make it through to the end. Hopefully there's content in this patch to further the Nerubian and Earthen storylines and we just haven't seen it yet.

A side story before the final patch has worked as a breather before things pick up, but that only works when we have a patch or more before it. Using a megadungeon for the side story between the first major patch and the second (and last) has worked quite well and I think is what most people were expecting. Hopefully they can figure it out for Midnight.

Midnight is getting revealed in August. We're not seeing 11.2 on the PTR til July the earliest, especially with 11.1.5 and 11.1.7 not even being on the PTR yet.

At best, expect more housing development updates before August, and expect 11.1.5 and maybe 11.1.7 as well.

I would like to see a housing update post in April, and then one in June. Updates every 2 months would be peak.

Feb, April, June. 3 Housing update posts til August. Would be perfect.

To do, what, exactly? S1 was already dragging along at a glacial pace. I'll take new content over a content drought any day of the week. It's not like a month more of polish would solve the problems the "lol cars in WoW" people have with the patch.

I thought Homecoming was refering to Goblins taking their home back from Gallywix tbh but it could be about Orweyna and her going back home.

How do they tie the Rootlands with an Ethereal raid though I have no idea lol

Or we're all still stuck thinking of the saga as traditional expansions. Its pretty clear that Midnight's story begins in 11.1.5 with the aptly named "Nightfall".

I expect the story to transition much more smooth than any expansion in the past. So there's really no need to rush to Midnight when its already starting in TWW

I think that only applies if you consider Xal doing Xal stuff to be Midnight, in which case it's already started. My guess would be that Nightfall will be the permanent half way point shift of Beledar. It'll go from being mostly Light with brief void shift events every few hours, to being mostly dark with brief light shift events every few hours. The new content will be Hallowfall (hence "Nightfall") under much more serious siege from the kobyss, krakens and other undersea stuff. Horrific visions will be in there and this also lines up with the Children's week updates, since the Hallowfall orphanage is a whole thing.

I think there will actually be a pretty clean break between TWW and Midnight. We'll secure the coreway/rootlands/worldsoul, and then Xal will be forced to abandon her initial attempt at a quick checkmate via corrupting the soul, to instead having to opt for all out invasion and so attempting to turn the Sunwell dark to act as a staging portal directly to the Void. Much like how Gul'dan was thwarted in AU Hellfire and went and triggered the Legion invasion, or Garrosh was boxed out of Orgrimmar and went and got the Iron Horde.

On the topic of 11.2 being available for internal testing, wowhead has an article speculating it might launch in June or July. I thought the main patches were meant to last 6-ish months but this would mean 11.1 would be a bit shorter, no? The roadmap also has 11.2 as early summer which I somehow missed as I just assumed it would launch at the end of August lol

Yea I'm a bit confused on that as well. I mean, the roadblock has always said early/mid summer, but are we gonna be spending 6-8 months in 11.2? Considering release is expected this time next year.

I think 11.2 will probably be out by the end of July. The Saga storytelling paradigm is so different I don't think we have to worry about story spoilers.

Holy moly, I really do not like this car. This is annoying as hell to use. I'll keep trying it to see if it clicks, like dragonriding clicked for me quickly but this just feels bad.

edit: Ok I kind of got it now. Still not a fan but it isn't as bad as I was feeling initially.

You have ways to handle it better. You're gonna have to earn them though.
