I do not know if it has been already discussed, but I just realised that there is a leaked script about the raid cinematic, in which Gallywix dies crushed by his own mech.

I expect to get something else. At the very least Xal'athat asking for her Dark Heart, only to find that Ethereals got it first.

The big story will be in the Homecoming chapter which was not on PTR and is accessible today (probably gated behind Gallywix kill).

I appreciate them not making Gallywix's defeat a big deal. I only hope he has unique dialog for Goblin players because they are basically sworn enemies.

I rather see the guy being kept alive, but it seems hes time has come anyway.

I hope there's some new bad goblin characters but it's rather crazy he survived BFA at all, though him siding with Sylvanas over the Horde rebels is still horrible writing (as it was clearly a dumb mistake and Gallywix isn't a dumb character).

Ye, 100%, Gallywix was always a step ahead of us in everything tbh. He isnt dumb, so him getting killed by hes mech is a rather silly end, but at the same time fitting as well. I always liked the character, but yes he had horrible writing. Especially hes relation with Sylvanas. He did leave her tho, making deals with the brokers. He probably went to Undermine after. Idk if a new guy can top Gallywix, he is oldschool. From cata on, shame to see him go. I also liked hes model.

Yea I have a feeling the new Horrific Visions will be in Mereldar and Dornogal being consumed by the Unseeming.

Probabilities suggest that it's most likely Orweyna telling to prepare to travel to the Deepgrove/Rootlands/whatever they're called right?

I like to think of K'aresh is a lock in for 12.2 as the final patch zone a la Argus. It's like poetry, it rhymes.

What are the odds the Meeksi things represent the pandaren ancestral animal species and we meet their Wild God "issuer" down in the Rootlands? Or it's just to appeal more to the Chinese market

I think that Homecoming just refers to Gazlowe coming to terms with a new Undermine free from Gallywix. I do not think that we will get much from Orweyna in 11.1.

Sounds likely. Especially with the whole Renzik short story we got before the patch. The Goblin cartels will properly return to Undermine and endeavor to make it better, rather than staying in their respective cities and avoiding it.

On a separate note. I still wonder whether Undermine will be somewhere for Horde to put a house at some point. Maybe a bit unlikely with how crowded the area is. But sure would be fun. Maybe if they have a new housing area with the rocket to the mentioned "different area" of undermine.

While I did believe the Ethereal was maybe working with Xal'atath, a part of me also believed otherwise simply from the fact the last raid had an Ethereal who was also seemingly against Xal'atath.

And considering Xal'atath's comments on the Ethereals in Legion, I get the feeling the Ethereals have some sort of faction where they're secretly plotting against Dimensius and the Void. This would explain Locus Walker ngl.

Originally I thought the Ethereum were going to become the Illidari of Midnight. But if they are main antagonist of the last patch then that seems unlikely.

Blizzard is doing a great job at keeping things ambigious and interesting with this expansion. What could the Ethereal's angle here even be?? I'm loving all of this.

I was also genuinely shocked at Renzik's death. It was really horrible to watch him wither to ashes. They're doing a great job at setting the stakes so far.

There's a lot of Ethereal subfactions that can fill that Illidari role, so we'll see how it plays out.

As I said earlier, Xal and Azir may very well be working for different Void Lords. It would make sense if the Ethereals are working AGAINST Dimensius who destroyed their entire planet.
