So I noticed that I read the gossip text for one of the unused Rocket Drill's operators incorrectly- she says that the drill connects to another part of Undermine, not half or section. There also really isn't another place in the zone the drill could currently connect to.

Maybe they are going to add an Undermine neighborhood for the early access housing and NOT the upcoming Alliance/Horde areas?

Yeah it was suggested earlier in the thread. Do an Undermine neighborhood. Heck given that it will likely be instanced, we could even have one that is half underground, half on the Kezan mountainside overlooking the jungle.

I don't see a redemption from what Sargeras did...

It's definitely possible, if not probable. Blizzard essentially laid the groundwork by establishing that it was the nathrezim who sowed the fear of the Void (and their plan to create a Void Titan) into Sargeras... and then double-downed on this with the reveal of Zovaal the Failure Jailer having a millennium long scheme to escape the Maw and remake reality, essentially creating the Burning Legion (and everything they did) in order to deliver the Helm of Domination and Frostmourne to Azeroth.

Not saying that telling this story proves intent to eventually redeem Sargeras, but it definitely creates a strong defense for his actions.

That would be a good way to keep the variety that seems to be required of a Neighborhood zone. However it also requires a Kezan HD refresh, unless they just reuse Zandalar assets.

Blizzard: "We really want neighborhoods to feel communal and tight knit, this feature being social is a big part, also it's easier to put a lot of effort into a limited number of zones, so we're going to only have two to start with and maybe have more later."

I'm confused. What makes you think that the pre-patch/whatever housing will be an entirely separate additional zone in direct contradiction to their stated very important goals with the system? Did I miss an announcement or something?

Shadowlands annihilated her character beyond redemption but I'd say a very high chance of it.

I am saying that it is more likely for pre-release Housing (hinted at by Winter on the roadmap) to take place in an area that was developed during TWW development (aka instanced Undermine housing zone) versus releasing in the Alliance and Horde zones early, regardless of what they stated.

...but why? This has never been the case with any of the other early access content. Demon Hunters started in their own, made-for-Legion zone. Evokers started in their made-for-Dragonflight zone. We have a set of in-development Orc themed and Human themed outdoor assets like walls and gates that suggest the possibility that they've been doing groundwork for the Org/Elwynn housing neighborhoods since DF's development.

Historically, they work on feature-connected zones like these before finishing a lot of actual continental zones. That is why the demos at Blizzcon announcements are things like Goblin/Worgen/DK/Pandaren starting areas, because they finish those early.

Why would they devote time and resources to making a whole other third neighborhood, directly undermining their important pillar, instead of just finishing the Stormwind/Org ones they talked about and releasing those before Midnight? Why also specifically number the amount of launch neighborhoods if they were already working on a third when they released the first blog? They could have just left it non-committal at "a small number of neighborhoods to start".

Well, we don't know. It could be, but there are some design choices that throws things into question what we knew about K'aresh.

First. It was said it was devoured by Dimensius. But looking at that, that isn't a planet that looks devoured. It look like it split apart.
Second. The center looks... weird. What is it? It isn't a black hole, or else the remnants of K'aresh would have been swallowed. Yet it draws in that whispy darkness. So, there is some pull to it. Likely just enough to prevent the remnants from drifting away.
Third. The remnants are barren as heck. Like, there is only dark rock. No sign of anything on it. No ruins, not discernable mountains or valleys, nothing. If it would have been a planet it should have something to see. Even our moon shows something on its surface, and isn't as empty looking as this. Especially so close that it covers the whole screen.
Fourth. The thing in the middle. If it is/was a world soul, than congratulations, Sargeras Crusade was pointless, the Void took already a world soul thus a Titan. Right?

Just doing the number on it would quickly show there was no way it was ever going to amount to much of anything. But people are bad at understanding just how large universes are.

Which he probably had realised himself, hence the whole Dark Pantheon thing that we prevented from happening.

I've long thought that Azeroth herself would take up the sword at some point, so I still think that'll be what happens.

Even with Sargeras returning, I don't really see him being a good guy, so I don't think him just yanking the sword out again would be all that good.

If the lore is anything to go by, the physical universe is infinite in size, and there are an infinite amount of them across the cosmos, albeit almost all of them are temporary, while others are more limited in scale.

Heck, I want a "Myths of the Realm" event in TLT, where we battle the Titans with Azeroth's power to prove a point.

Would be the perfect way to deal with them. We don't kill them, Azeroth herself powers us, and we learn more about her true nature and the Titans mission as a result. Like, after beating each Titan, we learn more and more about why the Manifold exists, why they're in the mortal realm, what their intentions are for Azeroth, etc.

To be fair, nobody "deserves" to be Champion of Azeroth more than a troll, tauren or protodragon. Everyone else is either an alien or got mutated by alien juice.

Wonder if there will be something with how as an Earth Protodragon, Iridikron is more attuned to Azeroth than anyone or anything.
