Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
There is DEFINITELY more work older dungeons. Go and check the number of changes Grim Batol received with new and updated trashes and bosses compared to Necrotic Wake. Claiming otherwise means you never stepped into them.
Also, please don't speak for the playerbase wants/needs. It doesn't work like that.

Personal hopes would be an Amani raid. With the dedicated Troll dungeon being in the city in the Hinterlands. You could really make that one amazing with some updates to it.

So are we. Upper Blackrock Spire was a dungeon in WoD. And Blackrock Depths was a raid in the Anniversary event.
The world revamp dream will never die!
I don't think we're going to get a troll raid in 2025, good luck with "invade a troll city and kill them all lol" in this day and age.
I could maybe see ZG/ZA in M+, but only in Midnight, where it would actually make sense (provided trolls will be a major threat in S1/S2).

I can't see them lasting past S1 especially when the Amani overall will probably be allies. Probably have to stop Kithix from being rezzed before heading to the Sunwell, and HOPEFULLY a trip to Stratholme/Deatholme/the two combined as well.
HD Troll temple and Stratholme would be so good for a mega expansion like they are building Midnight to be. And if you want to get conspiracist that could be why all of Stratholme was added to classic TW.

Not really buying Amani being allies, considering we sacked their capital TWICE.
Also, what mega expansion? Let's not overhype ourselves and forget that Blizz barely release their expansions on time. Not sure what is mega about Midnight and why would they try to make a trilogy middle expansion into something like that.

This is true. At best, Midnight's development is resembling Legion, but you have to take production commentary with a grain of salt. Overhyping & Underdelivery is standard, especially for the gaming industry. And I think people forget production are free to lie to the public about anything & everything besides the actual physical product. The only people who get something resembling the real story are the investors.

That would suggest they are no longer part of the Amani empire then. Amani is an empire. Genetically, they are Forest trolls which the Darkspear already includes. Darkspear are a combination of other varieties of troll.
While I agree that "mega expansion" is a big much, it being a "middle of the trilogy" expansion doesn't negate the idea that Blizzard would want to go all out on it. It IS the expansion where we're battling the Void's all out assault on Azeroth, after-all. And considering it's likely gonna end with Renilash (And potentially us going to the ruins of K'aresh), it's much bigger than people think.

Heck, every expac from here on out is likely gonna be big in some way. Both grounded and cosmic.
