As much as I love the whole Vikings thing, it would be a bit annoying if the Alliance got another human... The worst thing for them is that they're only in the Horde hehehe. On the other hand, I'm not against trolls at all if they're the tough ones :
I want the wolvars too!

I would be really surprised if forest trolls aren't an allied race in Midnight. They're sure to be involved at least somewhat with what's going on there, and it'd mirror the Earthen being an Allied Race for TWW.
Yeah, why not, if they're as big and muscular to differentiate them from darkspear trolls. But if I had to choose, I'd prefer the ethereals for Midnight tbh.
Yes, if they miss the mark and don't give the vrykuls, I'd be shocked too. Like, after all these years it'll probably be the last chance to get them. Don't screw up Blizz. If we have them, I absolutely must have the iron vrykuls too !
Not all vrykuls are so huge. There are plenty of reasonably-sized NPCs. It seems to me that the biggest race at the moment are the dracthyrs, who are awfully big compared to other races. Their size would be perfect for playable vrykuls. It's the same for ogres.

While I really want them to be a strong focus of Midnight, I would hate if they became an allied race. Only because regular trolls were already so diminished by the Zandalari. Can you imagine the last 7 players of this race after Forest trolls get better models, customizations, and lore?
Really don't see how this would matter at all. Like 99.9% of the game is wide open corridors. Just give them a unique duck animation and you're good.

I miss when raids ended with something grand like in Legion (Illidan return, Argus on sky, stabbed Azeroth). Since then they tried it few times, but most raids are just bad guy dying and that's it, next patch has separate prologue.
I don't expect it now though, most likely this is filler story - not saying it will be bad, but I feel like we could go straight to worldcore and story wouldn't change a bit.
Cinematics in general has been underutilised in recent years. I mean not even Terran Gregory is working on those these days, is he?
I think they do just enough to have cool marketing hype material that sells expansions, and then for some major lore moments during the story campaign.
BfA was crazy in this regard, loved all the Saurfang ones.
I feel this has more to do with the stories being told, rather than a conscious effort on Blizzards part to not have as many cinematics.
Legion, BfA, and for that matter SL, were far more epic in scope than DF and TWW.
I wouldn't expect big cinematics until the last raid this expansion, or more likely Midnight. There simply isn't really much reason to expect Gallywix to die and that being the catalyst for something epic to happen in a cinematic.
The world revamp dream will never die!
I mean, Amirdrassil ended with a whole new set of empowered aspects, it just wasn't as visually impressive as a new planet in the sky or the destruction of a zone.
Also haveing some world shattering event happen at the end of every raid sets us up for another spiralling out of control in terms of scale. It's fine if a raid or two just ends with a current threat being defeated.
The end of TWW has a high chance to have something big happening, if Midnight is the start of a major Void incursion on Azeroth.
Argus was probably the biggest cinematic when it comes to impact but e.g. Eternal Palace ending moved the plot so much as well. Meanwhile in TWW we have two raids in a row that feel like complete diversions, we are helping people instead of focusing on the actual plot and the raid itself doesn't advance the plot in any way. It's the definition of filler. With DF out of the three raids, two of them were central to the plot (and while Aberrus was filler, the plot did move in the Megadungeon).
I think the issue is more that TWW's plot is just half-baked. The zones and the stories are solid but the main quest is a mess.

Oh damn, sorry. But yeah, you have done the prequests I assume? And we saw there how Gallywix is working with the Black Blood.
