K'aresh is most likely the final patch of Midnight

This is likely Blizzard giving us our first glimpse at K'aresh, so we could be prepared to go there during Midnight, namely during our first glimpse at the Light's battle with the Void.

That. Was. One. EPIC. Teaser.
Holy moly, I don't know if they've ever done a teaser like that. That's great!
The hollowed out world of K'aresh, I'm assuming?
Is the Dark Heart going to be used to absorb all of that energy, or are they releasing its accumulated Void energies into it, like a deposit of coalesced Void?
No clue but it definitely feels like they have a K'aresh zone ready to go. Only question is how big and when.
It's possible they keep us waiting until Midnight since the Void goo looks like the logo for the expansion. But it's also possible that this is a direct teaser for 11.1.5 or 11.2.
I think we'll investigate it further in 11.1.5, and maybe catch glimpses of it through Visions, scenarios, a dungeon or something. Hell, maybe just a cutscene. But I think the actual visit will wait until 12.1 or 12.2.
Look at the logo! Looks very much like K'aresh (And the Dark Heart ngl)!
I've never been more happy to be completely wrong on every plot beat.
RIP Orweynalands.
Yeah, that's K'aresh. Like I said tho, don't expect us to actually go there til Midnight. This is a saga afterall, and the Void stuff doesn't stop at TWW, which primarily takes place within Azeroth's surface.

This doesn't mean K'aresh is 11.2, just that the world exists and we will likely go there soon.

Like I said 50 times over, the Void stuff continues with Midnight, and we're standing with the forces of the Light against the Shadow, likely at the end of the expac. Considering that fact + the logo of the Midnight expac, I fully expect us to go to K'aresh then.

Midnight is quite literally Legion but for the Void, and I'm here for it!
They did say we'd know where we were going next by the end of Undermine's story in one of those interviews when the patch launched, right? If so, then that'd definitely put K'aresh in TWW, as much as I was expecting Rootlands. I thought Homecoming would be about Orwenya planning to return home, but I guess it was the Ethereals instead.
Actually, do we know that this group of Ethereals is even Void-aligned? Maybe they plan to use the Dark Heart to drain the Void out of K'aresh to revive their world.
I mean yeah we may still get Rootlands, very likely in fact, but damn if the story does NOT care. I get that it was likely that way because Metzen but daaaamn.
No.
Ion stated just a few days ago that by the end of 11.1 we will know where we go next.
11.2 is K'aresh. They would not show it like that just to go there an expansion later. They showed Argus similarly and next patch we went to Argus.
There is no doubt that we are going to K'aresh in TWW.
In fact Horrific Visions revisited is probably about preparing ourselves to be able to fight in a full void corrupted planet. Fighting N'zoth probably was a walk in the park compared to this.

I always thought K'aresh would make a great end patch for Midnight, but ending on it for TWW makes some sense for briding into Midnight.
The point is to show us what exactly there is to lose in Midnight. Our players need to know the stakes, and Blizzard has been forward about that.
Plus playable Ethereals
