Soul Engine aside, I just can't see them leaving a giant monument to another force.

Maybe we reverse engineer it to blow up Ulduar?
I think it would be more iconic for us to see when without all the saronite structures around it. As for the Scourge, I think we will learn who is leading it now in Midnight and the story will continue from there into TLT.

I don't think Iridikron will destroy Dragonblight even if I agree that the zone will somehow change / disappear so Azjol Nerub can be revealed. Here are my guesses :

-Irid will probably bring back Galakrond to life (I could easily see him double cross Xal'atath and steal her the Dark Heart or whatever she will be looking for in Midnight) and use the soul of his father to get him back to life. After all, he purged the decaying corruption out of his father's body and Yogg's corruption was another form of outer force influence, just like the Titans twisted the other dragons.

-Since Northrend seems to be a gigantic Titan facility, maybe their return will awaken some sort of device. After all, we still don't know where the gigantic bridge in Dragonblight was meant to go.

My dream for TLT is that Iridikron becomes the new Plague Lord and that he raises with Decay an army of death dragons, with Galakrond, Raszageth, Malygos... Hell, he could make his own Dragon Aspects to fight our Aspects, maybe even Murozond could be there, since he has relations with the Infinites. Also he really needs a big power boost to be able to kill a Titan, but if he has Galakrond and other at his service... He might have a chance.

Hopefully he would make a cameo in Midnight to show us that he is the new Lord of the Plague.

Even more important than Iridikron... What about Yogg-Saron? Would Blizzard bring him back in some way? I have no doubt that at the very least we will have a questline about him.

Galakrond is nothing compared to a Titan. And Iridikron would be nothing more than a flea. There's no power on Azeroth that Iridikron could use to match a Titan, come on. Even the weakened Titans.

Yet is being heavily teased that he will confront the Titans. Obviously he has no chance against a true Titan. Sadly, there are no real Titans anymore. Sargeras is the closest thing, obviously superior in power to a regular Titan.

But the rest of the Titans? We really don't know what kind of power they have now. My guess is that Iridikron would not be able to kill any of them by himself. But with an Undead Galakrond at his side? Certainly.

Why the obsession with Galakrond? Bro at his peak lost to a couple protodrakes and Tyr. He's not going to make a difference.

Because a giant undead decayed dragon is cool, although you're completely right, he lost to the proto Aspects, which was very lame of him.

Who knows? We might get some new lore regarding that particular event. DF's video showing his defeat was so dissapointing...

However, whether we find out about 11.2 this coming weekend or on the 25th, the Worldsoul Saga is at long last getting real. From there, it'll be a roller-coaster to Midnight with all the Alphas, Betas, housing, etc.
Yes ! They might actually make a WoW Direct about 11.2 this week ! Then show the exciting parts of it in the Xbox event ! Probably is going to be the other way around, but we have an exciting summer ahead of us, that's for sure !

Dream scenario for me is that they announce WoW for Console at the Xbox Showcase, launching with Midnight. If that's the case, it would be the first expansion where I skip PC entirely.
In the moment that they did not announce WoW for consoles with the launch of the TWW, it was clear to me that they are going to wait until this saga is finished. After the WSS we will probably see a kind of reset in many ways for WoW. Perfect chance to release WoW for consoles, alongside the many interface changes that they are working on, with addons not being so relevant, which is important for a console version.

A Midnight teaser would be veeery welcomed. Probably not going to happen, but just show some seconds of Silvermoon, a little tease of Stratholme maybe? It would make the forums explode.

I still think Iridikron is going to be our anti-hero ally.

That was a misquoted interview on WoWhead. There is a site that has the whole interview and it just calls him a Titan level antagonist

I know it's silly but the fact that he didn't underestimate us at any point makes me like him.

I don't think Iridikron will ever be our ally. But I do see us killing him and him being vindicated later on that the titans are bad.

It seems so ridiculously obvious that Tyr stole the eggs to make more dragons, and Iri has a legitimate beef, to the point that I'm hoping there's a twist otherwise.

The thing is, Keepers are bad is not the same with Titans are bad.

Titans are probably not good though.

Odyn is definitely getting villain batted, which is fine, as there has been a lot of buildup to his Legion portrayal not being his truest self. Maybe Dornic comes back to ally with him and say "see, free will is bad! lets team up". Tyr is our buddy for a civil war with the Titanforged where we convince keepers one by one to work with us.

Big plot twist will be if Odyn and Tyr are forced to buddy up and the villain keeper(s) are a surprise.

Titans will be revealed to force feeding Azeroth Order, and also maybe being behind the Shadowlands rehaul. And then we take that into consideration valuewise.

I think the flow of TLT is going to be very much what they said.

Iridikron is probably the first villain. We defeat him and then "uncover the titan conspiracies". Then next two patches probably flip to the titans being the villains of the story

There has to be some kind of enemy titanforge faction at launch, imo.

I’m hoping Iridikron will be an ally out of necessity, like Illidan in Legion. “Now you see the Titans for what they are. I have the means and knowledge to kill them so you need me” type of deal.

I like him as a character and really hope we don’t just off him after one patch or something.
