Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
That 6 month sub cat mount had nothing to do with DF so I wouldn't read into it.
While the mount certainly has both Azshara and Pandaria vibes (koi fish), I'm leaning more towards Azshara on this one.
First of all because of the colour scheme, which doesn't really scream Pandaria. But also because of the saddle, which definitely reminds me of ancient Kaldorei stuff, like what we had in 8.2.
The moustache is interesting. Probably reading way too much into it, because koi fish do look a bit like this... but it gives off a little bit of a tentacly vibe, doesn't it? I'm thinking of Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean, and even some Old God minions in WoW. Almost as if the fish had been slightly affected by something down there in the water.
But again, just spitballing. The saddle, the underwater theme, and the rich detail in the mount are probably the three biggest hints.
Edit: Oh, and time to hop into WoW for the mandatory "I gotta create an underwater explorer type character in preparation of the expansion RIGHT NOW."
Wouldn't be overly hard I imagine, but fair enough. I don't think it is that indicative of anything though.
One of the previous mounts (the sapphire phoenix) turned out to just be Zereth Mortis for example when bunch of people thought it'd be hinting toward whatever came after Shadowlands. And ditto the cat mount. We'll see where that turns up, if anywhere at all.
edit: You know, let's say it is a world revamp expansion. And we get a water zone? That really is just Cataclysm 2.0, isn't it? Hah.

Oh, and I just realised 10.2 is probably (at most) 4 months away. The Emerald Dream looms! Finally some closure on all that World Tree and Night Elf business.
Pretty sure this fish is a red herring...
I guess this confirms it.
The next wow expansion is WoW: Finding Nemo
Formerly known as Arafal
I can the Koi being a part of the Dream, but the Cat absolutely will be.
Nice to see the Ankoan mentioned again. Remember they were namedropped in the files this expansion.
On a serious note, Queen Azshara and underwater content could definitely be woven into the theme of the next expansion.
I mean, the two prevalent theories are:
A - Pirates going to the other side of Azeroth (possibly to a place called Avaloren).
B - World revamp (possibly involving the Old Gods or the elements somehow).
C - A mix of A and B.

For example, Queen Azshara could return for "round 2", in a new and terrifying Void-form. She might have tapped directly into the powers of the Void, as opposed to serving N'Zoth. Perhaps he even willingly set her free so that she might go away and seek further empowerment by the Void, which he could later use to his benefit. Who knows.
All I'm saying is, I wouldn't be at the slightest surprised if 11.0 was something like this:
World of Warcraft: 11.0
- Iridikron's desire for vengeance against the Titans and all who serve their cause, has provided an opportunity for Queen Azshara. Lured by the same whispers that once ensnared Neltharion, Iridikron continues wreaking havoc across the Dragon Isles. Queen Alexstrasza falls to darkness after 10.2, after losing Nozdormu and perhaps getting betrayed by her sister Ysera (beware the eyes of green). Maybe she dies. Heck, she's the life-binder after all. Perhaps her continued existence serves as a tether between Azeroth's world soul and life. Anyway, I digress...
- This marks the moment when Queen Azshara strikes, and finally enacts her plan. Azeroth the sleeper now awakens from her nightmare. She is corrupted by the Old Gods' essences. The world is in turmoil. A shadow falls over the land. Friends turn on each other. The elements are in uproar. Cities rise and fall. As Queen of this new empire of shadows, Azshara is either again working with N'Zoth, or perhaps she's unaware of his continued existence. There might even be a civil war within the forces of the Void. Either way, even defeat tends to work in his favour! You might say, this was all part of his prophecy. All eyes shall open. The sleeping shall awaken.
- When all seems lost, the World Shaman Thrall rallies the remaining forces of the Horde and Alliance. He guides us through this next journey, through the darkness on our quest to restore Azeroth and purge the world from the shadow. At his side are the remaining Dragon Aspects, answering his call in Queen Alexstrasza's name.
- Naturally, Queen Azshara rules her new domain from somewhere at sea. The Maelstrom, perhaps?
- Heroes of Azeroth need to venture far away from the corrupted lands and find a way to restore Azeroth. We'll venture across the tide, discover hidden islands, mystical underwater landscapes, and ultimately Uldaz, where we'll unlock our way to fight back. I wouldn't even be surprised if there was an underground zone in there, taking us closer to Azeroth's core. A bit like Cataclysm, which gave us a revamp plus some new zones spread out all over the place.
- Zone by zone, patch by patch, we'll restore Azeroth and unlock her new revamped apperance!
Maybe?

Btw can I say, I feel 10.1.5 is the real major patch over 10.1? Time Rifts seem meatier than Zaralek, the Dungeon is more impressive and more impactful to the story than the Raid

I think you will be disappointed. 10.1.7 has had a vendor built, they are very likely to just talk about it and launch it on PTR by Friday. Plus I think just like Forgotten Reach led into the Zaralek storyline, 10.1.7 will lead into 10.2
