Faerin, Anduin, Alleria and Turalyon, plus perhaps the Sons of Lothar from launch, make perfect sense as an ensemble cast to go to K'aresh and bring Light to a voidy place. Alleria and Turalyon already have the space experience and it sets up something juicy happening to one or both of them. Possibly Turalyon getting melted and Alleria going crazy from it.
...maybe the reason it happens is that the Ethereals kill Turalyon, not Xal? Xal says "lol join me for revenge" and she loses it.
Guys, next patch is 100% K'aresh or the void.
Patch 11.2 is the last patch of the expansion, and so far we still haven't had a legendary weapon. The next weapon will be Atiesh 100%.
Have you seen the focus on it?
A quick recap:
Xal calls Khadgar "the guardian"
Atiesh breaks and Dalaran is destroyed (reminiscent of the first time we had to craft Atiesh. Dalaran had been destroyed by Archimonde, Atiesh was stored there and several people recovered the splinters)
Khadgar out of the game.
The Dark Heart engulfed Dalaran just as it did Khadgar, and the Atiesh splinters are on the other side.
The last tmogs about Medivh, as well as the raven mount.
Atiesh's special effect will be Khadgar's arcane blast (cinematic with Xal, but also the 2.5D Harbinger cinematic from the Legion era).
...I didn't even realize it, but Dalaran's ruins in space/Ka'resh would be the PERFECT place to have a showdown with Xal as the final boss. And Atiesh would be a dead ringer for the legendary, especially as the last one was melee.
Start the expansion in Dalaran, end the expansion in Dalaran.

They called it a falling star in this interview: https://www.wowhead.com/news/wowhead...na-wang-335929
They regularly use the word "star" The Emperor's Vision.

The bit about it being a fallen star comes right from Blizz, they stated the Emperor had a vision of a falling star in an interview with Maria Hamilton, and it was also referred to as a fallen star in the War Within artbook (I believe it's also mentioned as such in game but I'm at work on my phone)
I don't think we'll fight Xal. Prolly a void being, another agent of Dimensius. Or a Nexus prince if the "new" Ethereal faction is hostile.
Yes, most people that interested in the lore saw right away that something's coming about Atiesh.
Especially cause it broke, and the first time we encountered Atiesh was to reforge by collecting splinters etc... Splinters will be where the dark heart spits whatever it swallows.
Guessing the story is gonna be like this.
Sons of Lothar, including Wheelchair Khadgar, reunite to discuss next steps. Faerin gets involved because reasons and also tied to that name (guess that makes her an honorary Son of Lothar)?
Because it's Khadgar, it ties into Dalaran somehow, and maybe Alleria pinpoints that it and the Darkheart are in the same place. They gear up to go to K'aresh somehow and contact Locus Walker who arranges passage.
Dun dun dun- when we get there, bad ethereals and Xal are warring for it. We help good ethereals dispose of the bad ones, likely hanging out in some kind of biodome preserving part of K'aresh (see: the ethereals with sand on their models). Raid will partially take place in the Ruins of Dalaran and the final boss will be Xal in an iconic area.
A. you said three expansion.
B. Naaru have been important since Legion in every expansion, except Dragonflight.
So your point of them "they haven't mentioned Naaru at all in like 3 expansions", is wrong, as of the last three expansions (BfA,SL,DF), only one had no naaru in them, and we are possible seeing one for TWW soon.
That all kind of makes sense for a potential 11.2. zone. It would round out the story of the start of TWW, make sense why the Sons of Lothar of all people are so prominent (remember the christmas comic about them?).
So, what if the ethereals unleash the energies of the dark heart on K'aresh, with it, the broken remnants of Dalarn, and also Galakronds corruption? Epic giant dragon fight in space?

Not really. We only need to see the Worldcore until the end of TLT. And it was said the coreway will take a long time to clear. So, we could see the worldcore as the final raid of the saga, with the titans, including sargeras at the world core (the titans in avatar form, not planet size form)
I think to both avoid wasting Xal as a boss and for the sake of having a big bad as the end boss of the expansion, Ethereals are going to "revive" the remaining bits of K'aresh world soul using the dark heart.
But that world soul was long lost to the void so it gonna be like a weak ass void lord wanna be.
I wonder if Xal had Iridikron get that as a kind of "poison pill" in case anyone stole it from her. I don't know how she'd "purify" it before she did what she wanted, but maybe whatever the Ethereals power up with the heart will get corrupted because it came with a shit ton of decay from Galakrond's corpse.
Unless this was all according to plan to get the DH stolen and then someone else to use it and get punked. But that would make Xal another shitty 7D chess villain.
Not necessarily named, but
This is from Chronicles Vol 2.
