Fish just making me want Alliance Naga more. Especially with the colour scheme they have going for the armour.

If the next expansion is a world update to celebrate anniversaries, bringing in two of the most hyped races to become playable would be massive. Horde's nostalgia counterpart is obviously Ogres for a core race.

But, I'm not holding out too much hope. We've never gotten back to back races, and the cat was nothing too.

What about Goblin/Worgen in Cata and then Pandaren in MoP?

Ye, I don't know why peeps keep coming out with these weird, arbitrary patterns so often.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Of course 10.1 is bigger, but I think some or most 10.1.5 content would be part of 10.1 without Diablo 4 launch. It was time for new season, releasing S2 now would be repeating SL failure, but they knew 10.1 would keep many people only for month no matter what. Hence easy gearing and just mandatory zone/raid/season in 10.1.

But it's good idea to split content between patches and they should keep doing it. Legion was remembered so well cause even smaller patches had content, raid season in minor, everything else in major - compare it to let's say 8.2.5 with 30 minutes story and some system changes.

And it's pretty funny that people cheer Blizzard for small patches but hate when it's like SL - chunky patches with timegated rewards, even if both could have same amount of content.

People are hoping that Blizz reveal Patch 6 before Patch 5 and later they are dissapointed xD. Classic WoW community move.

Honestly, I don't think they needed to do that in my opinion, the smaller patches that is.

Think Azshara has moved past being involved in an Old God themed expansion going forward.

When we last saw her she referenced seeking the “ true throne of power”. This could be something related to Azeroth herself, or even seeking out Sargeras again.

Either way, I think we’re past the point of Azshara = Old Gods.

Geez, I dearly hope not. Azshara coming back so soon would be really lame. Leave alone the underwater zones, an underwater expansion would be atrocious.

Whatever the vague threat that both N'zoth and Zovaal were alluding too would seem to be the most probable. Assuming he either told her about it or she learned of it while being a captive in Ny'alotha.

Then of course, there's the possibility that Azshara and N'zoth were playing the PC and are still in league with one another. Since it makes zero sense why he would punish her for trying to stab him with the dagger but somehow also leave the dagger with her

I'm still a Horde Naga fan, but, there's another ocean-going race out there they could do for absolute sheer nostalgia power

What do we think Iridikron is doing with that Dragon Soul-like device?

I think he may be trying to gather up all of the six elemental forces (fire, water, earth, air, spirit, and decay) into one device. We know he's siphoning Galakrond's decay essence. He may steal Vyranoth and Fyrakk's water and fire essences when they get defeated. He probably already siphoned Raszageth's air essence from her corpse. He can supply his own earth essence to the device. He may be able to siphon Spirit into the device during 10.2 when we go to the Emerald Dream. Maybe collecting all six is necessary for his plan to shatter the Elemental Planes.

I don't believe in the "Infinity Stones" idea, because if he wanted true Fire why would he corrupt Fyrakk with Void?

I think he will shoot the decay into either A) the Emerald Dream or B) Uldaz in a bid to corrupt the current rendition of Azeroth.

The manifesto on Forbidden Reach suggests that they are primed to strike at the conclusion of the Incarnate/Primalist's attack.

I mean, the two prevalent theories are:

A - Pirates going to the other side of Azeroth (possibly to a place called Avaloren).
B - World revamp (possibly involving the Old Gods or the elements somehow).
    C - A mix of A and B.

    https://www.wowhead.com/item=204335/...-of-the-depths

For example, Queen Azshara could return for "round 2", in a new and terrifying Void-form. She might have tapped directly into the powers of the Void, as opposed to serving N'Zoth. Perhaps he even willingly set her free so that she might go away and seek further empowerment by the Void, which he could later use to his benefit. Who knows.

All I'm saying is, I wouldn't be at the slightest surprised if 11.0 was something like this:

    World of Warcraft: 11.0

    • Iridikron's desire for vengeance against the Titans and all who serve their cause, has provided an opportunity for Queen Azshara. Lured by the same whispers that once ensnared Neltharion, Iridikron continues wreaking havoc across the Dragon Isles. Queen Alexstrasza falls to darkness after 10.2, after losing Nozdormu and perhaps getting betrayed by her sister Ysera (beware the eyes of green). Maybe she dies. Heck, she's the life-binder after all. Perhaps her continued existence serves as a tether between Azeroth's world soul and life. Anyway, I digress...
    • This marks the moment when Queen Azshara strikes, and finally enacts her plan. Azeroth the sleeper now awakens from her nightmare. She is corrupted by the Old Gods' essences. The world is in turmoil. A shadow falls over the land. Friends turn on each other. The elements are in uproar. Cities rise and fall. As Queen of this new empire of shadows, Azshara is either again working with N'Zoth, or perhaps she's unaware of his continued existence. There might even be a civil war within the forces of the Void. Either way, even defeat tends to work in his favour! You might say, this was all part of his prophecy. All eyes shall open. The sleeping shall awaken.
    • When all seems lost, the World Shaman Thrall rallies the remaining forces of the Horde and Alliance. He guides us through this next journey, through the darkness on our quest to restore Azeroth and purge the world from the shadow. At his side are the remaining Dragon Aspects, answering his call in Queen Alexstrasza's name.
    • Naturally, Queen Azshara rules her new domain from somewhere at sea. The Maelstrom, perhaps?
    • Heroes of Azeroth need to venture far away from the corrupted lands and find a way to restore Azeroth. We'll venture across the tide, discover hidden islands, mystical underwater landscapes, and ultimately Uldaz, where we'll unlock our way to fight back. I wouldn't even be surprised if there was an underground zone in there, taking us closer to Azeroth's core. A bit like Cataclysm, which gave us a revamp plus some new zones spread out all over the place.
    • Zone by zone, patch by patch, we'll restore Azeroth and unlock her new revamped apperance!

    Maybe?
    That sounds delicious.

Could be really simple in that he just wants the power of decay which was present on primordial azeroth and somehow vanished (probably with the death of azeroth). Returning this power to current azeroth would be in line with the goal of the primalists (i guess, who knows what their real goal is tbh).

Also another theory i have besides the infinity stones is that he will use it on alextrasza. Iridikron having an artifact that could control dragons, having a questline that reminds players how alextrasza was enslaved by it and having seen a vision of alextrasza being corrupted seems a bit suspicious to me. Don't know why he needs galakrond for this if that would be the case though.

I'd really like to see Azshara go neutral or at least non-confrontational in the way that LK Bolvar was rather than return to being a direct antagonist. I enjoy her character and really don't want to have her end up a raid boss after she managed to escape being killed for loot last time.

I'm suspecting he's trying to power himself and the other remaining ones uip with that power to take out the Aspects and other Titan stuff. Basically countering the Apsect's order magic with as many varied other sources as he can get that have succesfully gone against it in the past. So next patch is probably Emerald Dream/Tree with Vyranoth getting her nature power

Things are probably going to go wrong. Fyrakk's probably going to go full Deathwing and have to be put down and Vyranoth is entirely possibly going to switch sides

  18. #8938
I hope if Azshara shows up, we will deal with her for the last time.

We call prince farondis and let him deal the last blow, it would be well deserved justice.

I'm leaning more towards him using Decay on someone or something as well, instead of an infinity stone type of situation as well tbh.
Hopefully we find out tomorrow, once the mega dungeon has been released.

I think that Raszageth will be raised as a Dragon of Decay by Iridikron. I also do not discard the chance that while we are saving Nozdormu from becoming Murozond, Iridikron goes to Valdrakken and defeats Alexstrasza, just to slowly corrupt her with Decay. Another option is that Fyrakk and Vyranokk attack Valdrakken, defeat Alexstrasza, and corrupt her with Shadowflame.

I would prefer that we fail and Murozond happens, but we will see. Plenty of things might happen story-wise. I just hope that SOMETHING happens.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
