People wanted classic servers so they could experience WoW pre-cata. At best, folks wanted it to cap off at Wrath. By doing Cata, MoP, etc, you ruin the point of classic servers. Also, since you cannot keep the TBC or Wrath clients, you're kinda fucked if you just wanna experience that particular era

I genuinely mean this in the nicest way (in case it comes off differently). Why on earth would Blizzard release/announce major news (whether it be 11.2 or housing) on the day of a patch during its maintenance just to completely underscore the patch before it even comes online?

Classic era is the term officially used for the frozen in time classic vanilla servers.
Classic is just the term for any expansion pre-whatever is the current expansion. You can call it whatever you like but it is classic.

I know that there's one conversation about Blizzard not recasting voice actors who are on strike, which I think is a great thing, but...

Is Eitrigg voiced using AI...? There's this very strange cadence to the way he speaks along with the same odd effect a lot of the Goblin NPC's from Undermine had. This doesn't extend to Danath or Faerin.
