This was actually my immediate read also when I saw that they were using Tazavesh and the Dragon assets. Some of the plants are suspiciously thorny and the thorns in void-influenced texture version are two tone with nearly the same hue shift as the red and green thorns seen on the harronir's gear.

Yes. Because the point of those were to inspire the way Khaz Algar was going to look. It was never made by Blizzard, it's not concept art. They never intended or thought about having giant corpses in Khaz Algar, because those were not made by Blizzard.
It's essentially outsourced brainstorming.
It's important to point that out because people have this obsession with shitting on Blizzard because of "cut content" and "broken promises".
Also: Did you even look at those images? They don't even look remotely like anything in the game other than they are set underground.

Exactly.
With the spoilers we have is safe to assume which direction it will go. Because one thing is certain, Midnight starts after a Void invasion on the Sunwell, that we know.
Blizzard is kinda blunt on their storytelling and everything so far was very predictable, as they intended. That's why the "Azshara will start Midnight" speculation for me makes no sense at all, there is nothing pointing to it.
Void DH is infinitely a better idea than another void elf class. Give whatever Alleria is to them and let's move on to better class ideas
Incorrect. All 3 Demon Hunters have a Mug'Zee mechanic where they instantly go into Metamorphisis when they reach 100 Fury, this is just the Void Demon Hunter's version of it.
You can already tell just from that the theme of the fight will to be not let more than 1 of them be in Meta form at the same time.
More interestingly, they're officially classed as a bonus boss. 7 +1 which means they're not mandatory to progress to Dimesius

I kinda like this iritation, although basic its true to the original while implimenting the cosmic elements in a not overwhelming way and also taking some inspiration from the voids interpretation seen in league of legends story, generally the shapes but also some colors.
For reference
Spoiler:

Sure, but I don't think the spell icon is actually used in the fight. It definitely doesn't show up in the dungeon journal.

It's just interesting when people will learn that. The only thing that kind of came out of left field was Antorus resulting in us... kind of losing? Hasn't happened before, hasn't happened since.

Everything is touched by the First Ones. The whole cosmos would not exist without them.
They're probably not touched by the Titans tho, no.

I read it, it's silly. Also, the Hearthstone art you posted was of a Cosmic Elemental, not a Void Lord.

The Dungeon Journal which does not use the icon? Like, just read the words that I write instead of being snarky for no reason.
It's not part of his ability set:
The ability you are pointing out uses the default Havoc Meta icon:
https://www.wowhead.com/ptr-2/spell=.../metamorphosis
And Adarus' version of the spell also uses the default Havoc icon:
If you can show me where this is icon is seemingly used, be my guest, because it's not anywhere.
Here's a list of all the Metamorphosis spells added this build. PS: not a single one uses the new icon.
I thought Metzen said we were going to help the forces of the Light to banish the Shadow. Why aren't there any lightforged draenei or even arathi on K'aresh with us? The Vindicaar is floating above Azeroth doing absolutely nothing. I understand why it wasn't used in BfA, but it's the perfect opportunity now that we're heading into space again. I'm honestly tired of the lightforged draenei being a completely useless race.

Looking through abilities added, Xal'atath does explicitly help us during the fight.
Dimensius also has a Skyriding bit:
She also consumes a world soul:
