Druids and Demon Hunters are both the most work. I assume if evokers happen, it will be creating more visage forms instead of opening the class to other races which should also be very hard.

Meanwhile paladins are fairly easy (HD versions of racial mounts exist already) and shaman are nearly as easy (creating totems should be comparable work to reskinning mounts).

For me the weird thing is that every other world tree started with a consonant sound; Nordrassil, Teldrassil, Vordrassil, Shaladrassil.

Renaming it Teldrassil would of been better then this name of all things :/(


Edit: I mean it would of been better to call it Teldrassil but different location or something that means Hope since the whole "beacon of hope" was mentioned in relation to the tree.

Perhaps Luradrassil, crown of the sea? It would be suitable given that it's on a distant island.

Judging by how Blizz kneels to tree discourse people on twitter, I can definitely see them changing it anyway if the people scream enough. Alex just got the name wrong.

It doesn't bother me too much. I just find it a little weird that Blizzard doesn't think this stuff through more.

The name of a world tree is pretty significant, and it's something which we'll all mention and refer back to for years to come.

So if you're a billion dollar business with dozens of professional writers in your staff, I think the least you could do is get a name which doesn't remind you of a real life man's name.

It's like calling it Joedrassil or Stevedrassil. You can't unsee it, and thus the name feels weird and immersion breaks a little bit.

Heck, I seemingly spend more time thinking through every aspect of my alt characters' names than Blizzard does naming their world trees.

Here are five cooler sounding names I just pulled out of my backside, in less than 2 minutes:

- Eludrassil
- Orodrassil
- Valdrassil
- Amedrassil
- Iridrassil

But sure let's go with Bobdrassil or whatever it was.

Indeed. Nordrassil and Teldrassil roll off the tongue so much better. Amidrassil does too. Amirdrassil doesn't though.

I'm not being fickle, or whining for no reason. I just think the World Tree could be named better(Outside of extra context of the name in 10.2).

I'd be more "frustrated" over a no 10.3. Someone did mention Luradrassil as a better alternative(His avatar was Mr House from Fallout NV) and I liked that one and his explanation.

To be fair, I think this whole Night Elf Storyline has been a rather large failure of a Apology Tour for the Night Elves and honestly 10.2 being basically the Tree being threatened possibly sounds like a really bad idea when they've continued this narrative for no other reason than apologizing.

The fact the Mega-dungeon basically gave us a clear hint of the next expansion being a Legion 2.0 style cacophony of absolutely anime style events taking place I will not really be surprised if 10.2 is the end for this expansion at this point in time.

Disappointing? Yeah. I feel like the Development Team have been stacking victories and it would be best to not create the "2 Major Patches only" standard as a definitive standard going forward. But again we'll see when we finally get a glimpse of the Roadmap after 10.2's Launch.

Iridikron's problem is that unlike Zovaal who was surprised by the Prophecy. Iridikron knows that actual confrontation with us will lead to his demise which makes his character a very binary success/failure state of his character.

It is very likely that to make this null & void about his intelligence that he will just become a fat monstrous all consuming 2.0 version of Galakrond that will still fight us and die because of our "power".

Last Iridikron cinematic felt exactly like 8.2.5 when Sylvanas went away. Sounds like they will kickstart next expansion.

Also imo it solved issue with revealing 11.0 before 10.2 raid or 10.3 reveal, looks like this patch is link and rest of DF will be just dealing with 2 remaining incarnates. Whether there will be separate patch fo Fyrakk with tree and 10.3 with Alextrasza/Vyranoth or just single last patch, we will probably learn in ~2 months after 10.2 reveal.
