The roadmap will surface rather quickly after 10.2 is revealed. It is even possible we get a Interview answer to this question prior if the PR Team allows them to ask that question.

Doubtful on that last one though, I think the "X.3 standard" question will live or die when the Roadmap is revealed shortly after 10.2 is revealed.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

The Titans are returning and Xal is using the Naga and iridikron to essentially give herself a power boost

I think that if there is a 10.3 it will have to deal with Tyr, and maybe Odyn as well, while visiting Uldaz. Both remaining incarnates may be dealt with in 10.2, and they are playing the long game with "Alex betraying Tyr" to the point that I think he won't be an active part of the tree patch.

I still think that Tyr may end up being some analog to Xal'atath and form a "Light/Order council" that goes against what we want to do. Maybe the Tyrhold beacon will be used as some kind of portal for Yrel? We still don't know exactly how it works but it got a lot of focus in early marketing.

Alex is definitely going to "betray" Tyr, and unless the twist is that she goes against us (doubtful) I think it's inevitable we will be in conflict with him. Unless we change his mind. But I don't know, this feels like a "never meet your heroes" kind of situation with Alex hyping up Tyr, while the sidequests like the Dragonscale Experiment Vault and now this story with Vyranoth are hinting that he's not actually someone we want to wake up.

So if you're a billion dollar business with dozens of professional writers in your staff, I think the least you could do is get a name which doesn't remind you of a real life man's name.

It's like calling it Joedrassil or Stevedrassil. You can't unsee it, and thus the name feels weird and immersion breaks a little bit.

Heck, I seemingly spend more time thinking through every aspect of my alt characters' names than Blizzard does naming their world trees.

Here are five cooler sounding names I just pulled out of my backside, in less than 2 minutes:

    - Eludrassil
    - Orodrassil
    - Valdrassil
    - Amedrassil
    - Iridrassil

But sure let's go with Bobdrassil or whatever it was.
Those are so good now I'm properly mad. Valdrassil and Eludrassil are perfect

Even something like as simple as Kaldrassil would work for me. I'm not hating on Amirdrassil, I'm just saying that first R has no business being here and so close to the second R, it doesn't roll off the tongue very well

Any fight with returning titans should just start and end like this if they were strong enough to deal with Sargaras off screen.

All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.

I should probably mention that I didn't try to use real elven words or anything, so these names might mean nothing. But Blizzard could obviously just say a word means whatever they want it to mean.

    Kaldrassil sounds cool as well!

Kaldrassil just makes me go Star Crown. I dig it(Even if it won't happen). I still don't wanna fight Tyr though. Fighting an Infinite version sure but...yeah I feel like I've gone over that point as it is.

I honestly don't think we'll see the Titans this time, but who knows. I think it's more likely Azeroth's world-soul just straight up gets corrupted or something, and we lose.

The Titans, the pantheon anyway, are kinda tied up right now, aren't they? The whole keeping Sargeras secured with Illidan thing. I don't see them coming back that fast. And even if they did, I would think they'd be pretty beat up what with the whole stuck-with-Sargeras thing.

Could be other Titans, I suppose.

Iridikron's plan doesn't make sense to me on face value.

He's going to let the Void try and steal or corrupt Azeroth's world-soul and then try and destroy them when they arrive? Even if he becomes Galakrond 2.0, I don't see how he could beat a single titan. Let alone the whole Pantheon.

But I do think the prospect of the Titans being lured away and Sargeras escaping again, is delicious. So I am glad to see where this goes.

Even if they did want to come back without a portal to argus like we had in legion it should take them over Ten thousand years to get to Azeroth like it would have for Sargaras.

Good point too, though there is still the red star in the sky, right? What opened once can open again (see the Dark Portal).

But yeah I don't see them coming back that soon. But it would be a good time to introduce more than the Pantheon, too. We're getting a few new titans in hearthstone, after all.

It could be opened again but you’d need the keystone for that and unless Illidan is an absolute moron it should either be destroyed or on Azeroth.

That's why we need a world revamp

IDK I like Amirdrassil, there's something about the r-d-r progression that always like about Nordrassil, and the two syllables and starting with A offer a different sound that can be played with how it's pronounced.

Am I correct in presuming the specific instance being talked about in the cutscene hasn't been fully revealed to the players. We know Titans were experimenting on living things in a general sense & all those references to "order water" but as far as I know we don't know the specifics she's talking about here. Is she talking about dragon eggs in general or specifically the primal's eggs? Are they insinuating early humanoids or even the elemental lords were also primal dragons mutated by the Titans?

I mean, if you're obsessed with the thought of vengeance after being imprisoned for 10K years, then yeah I think it probably seems sensible to do a bunch of crazy and destructive stuff just to get back at your captors. To him, the Titans basically made a mockery of his entire species and enslaved them.

I wouldn't be surprised if his idea of victory (supposing there is a coherent thought running through his head and not just madness) is the complete destruction of the Titans' creations and purging all of their influence from Azeroth. That means defeating the dragons or returning them to their Protodragon form somehow. It means killing all the Humans, Dwarves, and other species descending from the Titan-forged. It means killing (or perhaps corrupting) Tyr and all the Keepers. On top of this, I'm sure the grand prize, in his mind, would be to see Azeroth herself corrupted (the "last titan").

But hypothetically there could also be an idea of returning Azeroth (the planet) to its original elemental state, once Order's influence has faded from the world. Whether he seems himself serving the Void like the Elemental Lords once did, or if he perhaps is intent on destroying them as well once he no longer has a need for them, who knows.

I mean, at the end of the day you just get used to the nomenclature and it stops sounding unusual after a bit.

It just irks me because it could've definitely been better, and compared to everything else it really doesn't take a lot to make sure a name sounds good and fitting.

    'Mirdrassil anyone?
    Even sounds fae-y.
This is a signature of an ailing giant, boundless in pride, wit and strength.
Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.

Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.

Frosty mentions Alex having a role in it so it can’t be related to when the Proto drakes were still elementals.

So it has to either be the order water or more likely the keepers mutating a bunch of eggs into actual dragons when Alex and co became the aspects and the flights were made.
