Actually, it makes a lot of sense that Xal and Elune are similar- both could have started as mortals that achieved godhood through unusual methods.
Elune's method is a mystery, but probably tied to the Naaru somehow. For Xal, it would be mortal, void-enhanced herald, then godhood if she is able to absorb dimensius's remains inside the dark heart
The Sunwell could be a part of her plan, or it's truly just Azshara, but I think Xal makes more sense though it would make the player look like an idiot.

yea, like when talking about TWW in the "saga introduction" they mentioned K'aresh, and Undermine...
hell until they got to TWW details they did not even mention Dorne and Hallowfall (or arathi)...
"we will go to quel thalas" means we will go to quel thalas, not that we will go ONLY to quel thalas and not even step outside...
i mean its unlikely we will get whole norh of EK revamped but to say it cant happen bcs of what was mentioned at blizzcon is silly at best and outright idiotic at worst...

Something tells me we're not yet finished with the Beledar Crystal in Hallowfall, the vast Undeasea and that weird squid named "The Guardian". Maybe it's protecting whatever is in the underground sea and we're yet to find out. Wasn't there a short quest line about old god stuff down there and the teases that Beledars light doesn't go under water and there is old god blood. Not sure we're finished with all of that, despite heading to Karesh soon.
<3 Happy Weekend Everyone <3
Yeah, I can also imagine Blizzard using the "Titan technology" angle to make the class seem "cooler" and more interesting despite it being likely to still use G/G tech assets. However, the Titan tech angle does open it up to some interesting potential hero talents.

Yeah we don't know why the emperor wanted Beledar in the first place. Maybe he wants to harness its power for Renilash? We'll see.
As for the Guardian, I think it's just an easter egg from Baldur's Gate. As for the rest of your message, they're just zone secondary intrigues. I don't think we'll be coming back to them.
Happy weekend to you <3
There is a very pragmatic reason why the emporer might have sent the expedition to Beledar, but it is kind of a boring one.
The reason: So they meet us the players, and through us can join the combat against the void.
I mean, as it stands, we can assume the Hallowfall Arathi will join us in Midnight.
If N'zoth is going to come back in some form, it really should have something to do with the Undersea or the Underlight (which I believe to be a location somewhere across the Undersea).
I was thinking about it recently. N'zoth talks about being imprisoned beneath the waves, but where he was wasn't underwater until the Shattering. Unless he was actually in the Undersea beneath ancient Kalimdor.
Elune isn't a god though if you follow Tauren religion.
Keyword is religion, an entity is worshipped in different ways. Just because the Night Elves worship Elune as a God, doesn't mean the Tauren do, or the Harnair for that matter.
It's like saying Christians, Muslims and Jews worship the same god. Just utter rubbish. The latter 2 acknowledge the existence of Jesus Christ but he's definitely not a god in their eyes and it's the exact same scenario here.

I’m curious to see what story we get in 11.2.x leading up to Midnight.
I’m thinking they scrapped the rootlands - since some of the assets that were supposed to be used there now show up in the eco-domes.

They will be back. If the Worldcore has been postponed to the end of the saga, the roots of Elun'ahir are supposed to be around it, and they are likely to be under either Sholozar Basin or Un'goro Crater (both of are likely to be a part of TLT for different reasons)
