Seems odd to have that Draenei part yet not have them have a heritage armor set.
But yeah I could see it being man'ari eredar being brought in, skin wise.

We are getting new markings.and the night elves can adorn themselves with additional choices of face and body tattoos.
I repeat, we are getting new markings!
It's time to rejoice!

Finally we're getting the heritage armour. Good to know there's new customizations too!
They're adding a new public event where everyone will lag, nice !
Very excited for the new NE customisations and heritage armor set!![]()
This is a good guess, I think. It makes a lot of sense for a lot of former Burning Legion Eredar to come back into the fold now that their crusade is finally over, doesn't it?
Also re: Night Elves, I think they sorely need more than just tattoos or markings. They need new hairstyles and faces. Badly. But I'll take what I can get!
That is good point, cause Blizzard usually stick to seasons and clearly 10.1.7 is still under Fall. But after 10.1.7 reveal I still doubt 10.2 will be later than October 10th (so race would wrap up before Blizzcon).
It's just 2 new heritages and pre 10.2 event, not even timewalking/brawler's guild yet (which is guess is moved to 10.2.X), could be even shorter than 6 week long 10.0.7.
Another thing to notice: the older roadmaps had 10.1.7 pretty solidly listed under "Fall".

The new version shifts "Fall" way to the right. Since autumn begins around September 23 in North America, my previous release date guess was September 26 (the first Tuesday of autumn).

Now, though, we might be able to expect 10.1.7 sometime in late August or early September, it seems.10.2 is probably also coming sooner than expected as well. October, I'm guessing.
The name of the patch is pretty interesting, isn't it? Fury Incarnate.
This instantly makes you think of Fyrrak. He's also had his little "Deathwing moment" flying over the Dragon Isles in 10.1, but I'm guessing they'll keep that crescendo going into 10.2 when he probably assaults the Emerald Dream?
It's just funny to me, since nothing in the patch news seems to mention anything about that stuff. There's a fiery background image in the roadmap, that's about it.
Maybe the Dreamsurges and those Waking Dream portals the post mention, will be because the dream is in turmoil (meaning he already attacked it)?
Or maybe... maybe the new World Tree made the Dream all super-charged, and erratic. It would be cool and unexpected if we actually went in there to ensure Life is less chaotic. After all, when we aided the other flights, it was mostly against their own machinations or cosmic powers and not against some external threat, wasn't it?

Yeah good point! Not that it matters right now, but technically I guess that also means 10.2 will contain a Winter Veil refresh.
I know I was an idiot about Fyrakk before (not gonna forgive myself for missing the damned obvious "flame extinguished" being the sundered flame...) but maybe this is the patch where he's handled?
I dunno, at this point after my idiocy I'm not gonna call it for sure, heh.
It was pretty obvious Fyrakk was going to be fought again and well DREAM SURGES kinda show where we're going in 10.2.

I would expect season 3 to start a couple of weeks before Blizzcon. But I'm not sure if they would talk about the last season and the next expac or only the latter.
My mind is spinning right now, so I'm a bit spammy with my posts.
But imagine if the new Night Elf heritage armour takes a completely different direction from what (I assume) most people want. Instead of some cool Warcraft 3-inspired Sentinel set, we get some cutesy Fae-dragon nonsense worn by priests in a temple or something. Eek. Where armour pieces barely fit together, gloves and boots are way too chunky and the helmet is simply goofy (thinking of the Darkshore set).
The timing of it happening right after Draenei Warlocks became a thing makes me think that aswell. I can't see them not giving them the red skin option atleast at some point, and it's a bit weird to do a Draenei exclusive quest in what seems to be a Nelf/Forsaken focus patch.
I'm guessing September 12th or 19th given the Brewfest rework, that'd slot it right in. Regarding the heritage armor, I think it's best to assume it's final. I remember people saying that the orc and human armors seemed unfinished and I believe they were unchanged from the preview, save a bug with the human armor having some assets missing compared to the preview.
Ooh right, so a Dreamsurge is literally a surge. The normal content in the zone becomes all dreamified. Earn a currency from doing it when it's in that special state, and use currency to launch Waking Dream invasion events. Neato. Bit fed up with invasion-type events, but as long as they're green and drop Life magic-inspired gear we're all good.
Nice, account wide gear tokens. Hopefully they won't screw it up and we will able change them to sets too, since S2 looks a lot better.
