He spent a bit of time over at FFXIV. I sometimes tuned in on his stream to see how he reacts to a proper story, but 4 times out of 5 he was just calling his viewers assholes.
He had a few other meltdowns over miniscule things, insulted a few other content creators, and that's about it.
at the moment even the genshin impact lore is better than wow one, and is not a mmorpg XD
we talking pyromancer? while it is somewhat entertaining to watch his meltdowns, he got so absorbed in his theories that he fails to see the world from an objective standpoint.
And since i just did some shadowlands farming, it brought something back about one of his theories. The runecarver memories. Especially the Memory of Eonar, Memory of Norgannon, and Memory of the Dark Titan. Since i play the german client, it just dawned on me that in english the name of these memories is ambiguous. Like Memory of Eonar can mean "memory from Eonar", but it could also mean a "memory about Eonar". If i look at the localized names "Erinnerung an Eonar, Erinnerung an Norgannon, Erinnerung an den Dunklen Titanen" it is not ambiguous. "Erinnerung an ..." means "Memory about ...", and not "Memory from ...". So that would put that theory to rest, as many mortals could have memories about the titans, compared to having memories that belonged to the actual titans.
Of course, that should be checked in the other languages too if these are ambiguous like the english version, or more direct like the german version.
Is Geya'rah not voiced for the same reason Reznik wasn't in Undermine?
You don't have to be an MMO to be an open world live service RPG. And yes, games like Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves are the new big popular genre these days. Being multiplatform doesn't hurt either.

Yeah. I remember his review of Chronicles.
"Okay, here me out, the only way this makes sense if the Titans lied and THEY are the Void Lords."
Possibly? Her character design and the now confirmed connection to the ethereals strongly support the idea that she is also connected to elune in some way.
Not really. I just don't vibe with him. Way too much anger issues and inflated ego for my taste. He had some fun speculation in the past, but from what i've seen he mostly cares about him being viewed as "THE lore guy", that he can tell his viewers that he was right all along and they are too stupid to understand wow.
For me thats the wrong reason to do speculation content, but lots of people watch him so he seems to hit a nerve.
Every proposed connection between xalatath & elune is extremely dumb.
"She has circles on her outfit. The moon is a circle" This is nothing. There's a crescent in her rune markings, but every system of runes in warcraft has crescents. Does this mean the Lich King has a connection to Elune? No.
"She called Elune an upstart goddess" So she has heard of Elune. Riveting. This actually suggests the opposite of a connection, because calling her "upstart" is because from Xalatath's perspective, the worship of Elune is relatively new on Azeroth. When trolls and elves started worshiping Elune, that would have been pretty recent in Xalatath's lifetime and Ethereals didn't worship Elune as far as we know. What Xalatath doesn't know and the players know is that the worship of elune exists for much longer on other planets; But Xalatath has no experience with those planets.
"Confirmed connection to Elune" Some youtubers have proposed a connection between the Night Warrior and the Void because of a general darkness vibe, but considering that plotline is over, and a Afrasiabi/Danuser Idea, its likely to never be brought up again. At the moment The Night Warrior has nothing to do with the void. Contextually & Aesthetically, they have nothing in common.
"Confirmed Connection to Ethereals" Ethereal lore has never mentioned Elune.
"She drained power from Elune in Tomb of Sargeras" She can drain power from literally anything. That's her entire deal.
"This explains why she could assist the ethereals and manipulate the reshii wraps" How? Again, the Ethereals have never mentioned Elune. They mention the moon in the Audiobook & origin of the reshii wraps, but that was in a completely secular, scientific way.
Accolonn is championing this Xal/Elune connection, and normally I like his lore videos but this is his pepe silvia moment. He's just talking nonsense and making connections where none exist. "Xal likes power. The well of eternity has a lot of power. It was made by elves. Elves like elune" It's extremely dumb.

I think it's more that Xal and Elune are similarly mortals that became gods. Hence "upstart goddess"

Honestly, Xal is just someone that wants to become a Void Lord.
That's why Azeroth's warns with the Radiant Song about Xal, not about anyone else. We learned now that K'aresh did the same thing regarding Dimensius. Unless there is another Void Lord wanting to consume Azeroth, it can only be about Xal.
People keep saying this but they seem to forget that this excursion with K'aresh & Dimensius was not part of Xalatath's plan. We're only going there because a worshiper of Dimensius stole the Dark Heart from her.
She wants power, and she had to opportunity to claim Dimensius' power at the end of this chapter of the story....but whatever her plan was, usurping Dimensius was not originally part of it. Whatever her actual goals were, becoming the new "All-devouring" is simply a happy accident.

We don't know that. For all we know, that was always her plan, but she didn't know he was being resurrected on K'aresh. So instead of continuing to suck up enough power to be able to become the best of the best, she was presented with a new opportunity.
Considering it looks very unlikely she seeks to corrupt Azeroth versus consuming it, the most likely reason she was collecting energy in the Dark Heart was to (eventually) become the All-Devouring.
I was a bit confused at first that Locus Walkers' gf got turned into a void revenant, but I guess it's basically the same thing that happened to Xal.
Kinda sad she got killed off at the end instead of becoming our ally though.
What you just described is the opposite of a plan. If she was always going to take Dimensius' power why hadn't she done it already. If Dimensius needed to be in the process of being resurrected for her to take his power, why wasn't she working toward that? Because she wasn't.
This is all just consistent with her accumulating power, which has always been her motive. We still have no idea what Xal's ultimate goal is.
