He's not an idiot. He's doing what's in his nature.

I hate to add to the notion that the .2 patch has a skeleton crew working on it, but a teaser trailer being an IGC opposed to a new trailer like Undermined makes it feel as if it's all hands on deck for Midnight.

    11.1 had a launch trailer.

It's still a month away. We'll get another trailer too.

You're completely right. Thanks for the correction.

The sky 'darkened' on Karesh because Dimnesius consumed the planets suns

    It started darkening before that.

EDIT: In fact, I wonder if it's the destiny of all cosmic forces to eventually be supplanted by beings from the Great Dark Beyond. I was thinking yesterday that it would be funny if Elune and the Winter Queen are sisters because they were actually mortal sisters who worshipped the cycle of Life and Death and eventually, somehow, managed to become gods (or godlike). The current arbiter is a former mortal, and Order and Disorder are both led by former worldsouls. The Light mind end up being the only "pure" force left.
The current arbiter is a former mortal because we went out of our way to make it so. We saw the prototype Winter Queen in the Sepulcher in Zereth Mortis, she wasn't a mortal, she was created by the First Ones explicitly for the purpose of that role in the pantheon of Death.

Still find it funny people think cosmic lords are planet level max, when they've been confirmed to be FAR beyond that for years now.

Dimensius consuming the sun's of K'aresh only furthers this fact.

I guarantee you if people dug deep under Stormwind, they'd find Elvish ruins, and if dug deeper than that, troll ruins.
Its a bit of a different scenario though. Northern Lordaeron was part of the Amani Empire at that point in time. Quel'thalas was carved out of their empire. It wasn't just some piece of land they used to occupy pre-sundering.

The fear of a dark titan isn’t tied to Aman’thul, but Sargeras, who got it implanted by the Nathrezim.

My bad, you're right. While I hate the idea of a Sargeras redemption, I do wonder how much his tune would change if he came to terms with the fact that everything his Crusade was based on was a lie. I guess his goal would still technically purge the influence of the Void from the Great Dark Beyond, but we're proving that you really don't need to kill everything to stop a Void Lord. I think he's probably too far gone at this point to change his mind, but he might become more singularly focused on revenge against the nathrezim (and Denathrius).

There is definitely going to be a Sargeras redemption.

The expansion is called "The Last Titan", and since Dragonflight, we know that Azeroth is not a titan.

I have a feeling Blizzard will make Amitus canon to WoW and she’ll actually be the real Last Titan with the rest of the Pantheon being defeated.
Given the story of why she’s gone in HS.

To be honest, I do hope that Amitus is becoming canon, I really think she has a cool design and an actually interesting story, but I don't hope that she will necessarily be the last titan. I suppose it would be hard to introduce her in TLT and then also characterise and then also kill her off.

the nice thing, the influence of the nathrezim on Sargeras was long before shadowlands. But with shadowlands in context and that Denahtrius is behind the nathrezim, we could perhaps see a turn of events on the cosmic scene. Sargeras, confined with the rest of the pantheon and Illidan could come to terms that he was lied to by the forces of death. It would be cool to see the old Sargeras design coming back for him too, which reminded me of death knights.

The question would be, how the cosmic balance has shifted? Death has lost its problematic Zovaal, but Denathrius is on the loose. Fel lost Sargeras who might be somewaht redeemed. And Void will loose Dimensius and we likely deal with Xal in Midnight. So, all the "evil" forces are severly powered down. But without the counter balance of the evil forces we will likely see the "good" forces become a problem. First the Force of Order through the Titans in TLT, then we have to see in which order Life and Light are tackled. Light will likely be tied to the Arathi Empire, while Life will be the Roots perhaps?

Not all Egyptian are Coptic people. Most Egyptians are Arabs nowadays, it's not even close.

Hmmm I wonder if we will get the Beledar Light/Void cycle but expanded (maybe linked to the new outdoor world challenge mode) and for all Midnight zones.

Also, I'm the only one worried that Midnight's main enemy could be (Void) Ethereals?

It's kind of funny that we know most of 11.2 and yet we have not a clue of how Midnight will start.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

My Prediction: Xal'atath absorbs Dimensius'es power, then uses Sunwell's current Light properties to flip it into Void state to open portal into Azeroth and essentially starts doign what Dimensius did on K'aresh. Everything will be under Void infused darkness, hence the title "Midnight".
