So what's the general consensus in here about the NE heritage so far?

Set is great.

But i really hope we get a silver/purple, or gold/purple recolor.
The 2 datamined sets are beautriful, and i'll probably incorporate the blue one into half my mogs, but i'll be quite disappointed if we don't get one with the actual night elf colors.

Idk, I dont see the fuss, the armor seems like a pretty natrual evolution of what is widely considered by the community as 'the' most iconic night elf armor/style

I like the set but a more ummm modest version would be nice. And no I'm not saying this version shouldn't exist. Not at all, but fully clothed isn't bad persay.

I don't think there's a bra in the game that has the Night Elf architecture and colours though?

Isn't the bra on the model the right color? Just hide the chest piece.

Just checked and it does match. It's a 2D texture but it gets rid of the strap people don't like.

It's why I'm really not jazzed with the ideas of evil zealot Turalyon or villainous Alliance. I think that writing has been disastrous for the Horde and turnabout is not fair play here.

Evil Turalyon is so dumb, honestly.

I'd like to see the Alliance become more bellicose, but it would be utterly disastrous if they were just given the villain bat. Making the Alliance an imperialist,—but not villainous,—force seems like the best approach.

I'm kinda getting sick of councils. Another fictional universe that I'm currently consuming has 'council' as an answer to every type of political unrest and its.. I get the idea, give everyone a say because its multiple groups in an area. But it's just a meme at this point.

And if we have to democratize anything, let's at least make it realistic. Where is the emergent class of merchants waiting to foist a constitution on Anduin? Whenever democracies pop up in a fantasy setting, they never seem to emerge from the emergence of a powerful merchant class through industrialization, just from everybody deciding they'd like to have elections with no further context.

At the very least, the goblins would realistically run the Horde Council by now given that they're the only ones bothering to actually establish economic leverage.

Agreed. Realistically, it'll probably just be a comically-obvious answer that comes in the expansion where it comes to fruition, if it is even relevant at all. Keep in mind the Circle of Stars just being a zone by that exact name in Nazjatar. These aren't as deep as some tend to make them out to be, and I wouldn't be surprised if some are just retroactively-vindicated after being written to cash in on the hype and make the story look more well-planned than it ever really was.

I wonder what the armor designers have against really large boots though. This is the same thing we had with the human set. Just make the actual protective part go up to the knee.

This doesn't always mean they'll be an actual rep, though, right? Lot of things have actual reputation things in game but they're not available to players.

Probably afraid it'll clip I'm guessing. They do have non 3D boots that go past the knees though.

Has to do with a disguise quest, I presume. I think that's how it used to work, and I figure it works that way still.

They're saying the default undewwear on the player female nelf's match the set's colours so if you want the 'bra' look, then just hide your chest peice and your underwear can fill that role

any expansion that focused on Dwarves as the main Alliance race (like Legion was elves, or Draenei were for WoD)
The Mines of Moria expansion for Lotro is one of my favourite mmo expansions of all time, something like that in WoW would be the dream but it would never happen xD

Unless we go to the mysteriously mentioned Khaz Algar and its a whole underground dwarf zone, I'd love that

I’d be down for more dwarf focus, though I’d be a bit worried about Blizz messing with dwarf lore because imo they’re the one race whose lore they didn’t trash.

Though that being said… have the updated dwarf guard sets been seen in-game yet?

Would be funny if Khaz'algar was like the 10.3 zone or so, ngl. Maybe Iridikron and the Harbinger are tryna do something there in order for the Void to claim Azeroth?

Ive already written out seeing Khaz Algar this xpac cause I cant see Blizz doing two underground zones, I mean, never say never, but thats just my feeling.

Regardless, I do really hope we see it some day, a mysterious underground secret dwarven clan and civilization would be cool as heck to see. Plus it would just be really cool to see new dwarf art assets in the game, besides a couple explorer's league doodads and the Garrison bunkers, we havnt seen any new classic dwarf art assets (houses etc) that aren't Wildhammer, since......vanilla?

Though that being said… have the updated dwarf guard sets been seen in-game yet?

Still no clue where the new HD IF tabard and armour set is from yet, have yet to be spotted anywhere in game or on PTR

Karesh, but we're on the one half of the planet where the Etherals original race still exists but we have in the distance(Or the other half of the planet) full of Void(Purple/evil looking Blue etc etc). Sorta kinda like the 2d ish background you could see on Argus.

Technically, this can be in one expansion.
I mean, Azshara can be connected to Other Side of Azeroth somehow story-wise.
South Seas are kinda weird, because we already been here in Cata (Kezan) and BfA (Zandalar).
