I think the whole limited housing thing will most likely have a solution as time goes on, I think the ease of swapability of your House Builds is kind of another boon to the system.
Just make it cost gold and that lets you monetize it instantly.

Ofc it doesn't. I did not say it is a good method, I said it was a compromise.
You make a common living room and then you branch up into 1-2 room wings for your different characters. Will it work, it depends on your characters and their backstories. Heck my characters are from both factions which makes it quite a bit harder than what you suggest above.

Also no way is there not a world revamp coming with this variety of updated EK/Kalimdor assets. Unless Avaloren is full of cacti.
Again, they've pretty much flat out said there isn't one happening, and also "this variety of updated EK/Kalimdor assets" is like Elwynn/Durotar partially done and little else.

I feel like people really underappreciate the variety of assets involved in wow zones. The neighborhood doesn't include revamped mines, or a new abbey and abbey wall, or a new blacksmith building, or all of the assets required for a modern level Stormwind City, or the updated human garrison, or mage tower or standing stones, or barns and farmhouses or tavern (though there is an updated versions of a couple of those)--all of which you need just to do Elwynn Forest.

You're getting some westfall and duskwood assets, but you don't have all the Darkshire ruined buildings, and a dream portal tree, and new catacomb/graveyard assets, new Sentinel Hill, new Moonbrook, new lighthouses, new westfall farm houses, covered bridge. You get all that done and now, just for southern EK, you have three zones. You have very little for Redridge, or Swamp of Sorrows or Deadwind Pass (and Kara), Blasted Lands, Strangethon Vale (complete with ZG and Booty Bay), Searing Gorge, Burning Steppes (all the assets of new Blackrock mountain interior), the Badlands (+Uldaman's uninstanced sections), Loch Modan, Twilight Highlands, Dun Morogh, Wetlands (+ Ironforge and Deeprun), all just to round out southern EK. We haven't even gotten to Vashj'ir, Gilneas (and Gilneas City), Hillsbrad, Alterac, Silverpine, Tirisfal (ruins of Lordaeron + Undercity), both Plaguelands, and the Hinterlands.

    It's so little.

Yeah but between the shine and the color I think he looks made of bronze.

I'm not saying it's complete, I'm saying that it's unlikely this many new tree assets, foliage etc were developed solely for housing.

Nope. Says nothing about any kind of expansion.

Guessing they'll eventually do that with Dwarves and Trolls (Drakkari), or Forsaken for North EK.

Thank fucking god. I missed stuff like this. It finally explains the Arcane shenanigans in Solar/Lunar.

I'm gonna guess this means that the golden "Order" magic of the Titans is very likely Arcane + Light (hence, conspiracies! The Light has made a bargain etc), and that's why it's golden instead of purple like Pure Arcane. Arcane to use spacial energies, Light to dominate will and force obedience. Which fits in with how the Light operates sometimes.

The blue constellar energy is... something else. IDK mmmmaybe Domination?
Solar being Nature and Fire is so much cooler than it being Light. However Lunar still uses Void, which is the opposite of Light.

Elune being Light aspected was lame, but in a way it would fit if she's Nature+Void aspected somehow.

PS: We need a source for that. It could be random or AI.

    At Midnight with Northeron, probably.

I can see a mix of Eversong Woods/Ghostlands, Zul'Aman and Northeron. The result would be a mixture of autumn-colored trees with a cursed and putrid section, next to a primitive forest and snow-covered mountains.

That way, elves, trolls and dwarves could each have their own theme zone to live in.

A floating Titan-made facility would be unironically a hell of a raid.

On top of what everyone has already said, housing is definitely evergreen content. The amount of customization for it we are gonna get I believe is gonna be crazy. I was bummed out initially with just human/orc housing as I'm a big fan of variety with so many different cultures we have, but seeing some elven and night elf structutres in one of the pics provided gives me hope we'll get a lot of new customization for housing over time.

My biggest fantasy is having a house in the twisting nether lol. We have toys that can change the weather and the skybox so I guess it's a temporary fix but they only last 10 minutes lol.

Well, based on the TWW model, it's not a risky bet. You're not sticking your neck out too far on this one.

The same happened with WoD -> Legion.

    And also MoP to WoD.

Last patches have often been used as a way to use assets from the next expansion to save time.

    Housing:

Amazing as expected, the only issue is that I can't be in a neighbourhood with my friends without directly going into a private neighbourhood, which would be empty as its just us.

I think it would be much cooler if she was clay-red or a shade of obsidian than just a normal skin tone.
Have to agree. Granted, Aggramar looks a little too human-toned too in my mind—there are actually some pictures where he's even worse about it. I kiiiiiiiiiiiiind of see clay in her, maybe copper, but she overall doesn't look metallic enough. I don't think obsidian would work because volcanic glass would fit Sargeras better.

Granted, copper just isn't a good color for what they're doing, especially mixing it with black and navy blue. Copper, gold, red, black and white is just a weird choice of color scheme that I don't particularly like. Compare it with the still-colorful but much tighter Eonar color scheme. It's not atypical of modern Blizzard to make bad choices with color, though. I think Blizzard would do very well to look at Jack Kirby's art, since I assume that was a major inspiration for the titans and often uses very striking colors.
