My man I think you need to step back and take a breather, because this projection is coming from a place that feels like it has nothing to do with the game.

You can’t make the argument that “WoW isn’t a single player game, your choices impact more people” just for your opinions and not someone else’s.

It's hardly projection, WoW is already struggling to get people invested into the story or setting, which is understandable given how they ruined it over these last few years, and I fail to see how having hunched orc dudes run around with girl voices will reverse that. In fact, it will only exacerbate the problem.

People like you said the same wrt criticism of Faerin or WoW's storytelling and characterization, and then the Arathi questline hit and the game went viral for all the wrong reasons, turning away millions of players potentially.

Majority of people don't want gender or identity politics shoved into the game. I thought that the outrage against the 9.1.5 patch which also removed genders was a strong indicator, but the message has not reached you yet apparently.

To answer your question specifically, all Marran was missing was a red hat and her shouting "Make Stromgarde great again"

I know that it might be hard for millenials that grew up with young adult novels while living a comfy life in Californian colleges to have ideas that are not rooted in modern day California, but my goodness, there's plenty of good material out there, can we have some actual fiction or ideas that make people care?
Or does Blizz get a boner watching the entire internet trash the game?

It's not a certain side, the numbers are overwhelmingly one sided, to the point "de other side" like you're implying might exist, does in fact, not exist. Or in any significant numbers, at least.

For how long are you going to parade a single player game from years ago that had more to it than that, while completely overlooking the countless flops. It was priced fairly, had little to no bugs, continuous support free of cost, but most importantly, was feature complete without any paid content like dlcs.
It also had an appealing character cast and stories, which made people overlook these things.
WoW is dumpster tier in both, and it can't get away with it.

They're also advertising the cinematic in the official announcement, in a different way, so I'm hoping that it's at least on par with the classics.

Dagran jr is probably one of the best dwarf characters to come out in a long time an i honest to god hope hes sticks around. Hes like Brann but just nerdier an cares more about tomes an books an history.

A reminder that actually Shadowlands had a shitload of core race customizations and it was counted as a box feature. Im not sure what distinction you have with "game play features" because besides Covenants, I dont recall SL really having anything special.

covenants had alot with them
you had the soulbind system
not to mention new legos
torghast (rip the alpha mode)
honestly for expansions it was pretty standard

The evidence seems to point to it being ranged so far, but maybe not the kind of ranged you want.

The Void DH in the council boss actually appears to be a full caster. Given that the other two enemies in that boss fight are each copied directly from the existing specs, odds are good that he's meant to resemble the upcoming spec, which points to DHs getting a caster spec. But we'll see, maybe it'll turn out to be a misleading tease in the end.
