When the set is almost literally a 1:1 copy of the set that the vanilla cinematic/box Night elf was wearing. And body type 2 has a matching bra (for the maroon colour at least) if you REALLY need to have a bra.

Tbh the set really encapsulates heritage/traditional night elf units. Huntress, sentinel, moon priestess, it just looks right. And it looks like it could be enterpretted as any armour type which is a bonus.
From what i've seen, some people say that it's just no skimpy enough like the one that bfa npc wear, it's probably the same people that install only bikini armor mods for skyrim for one reason -horny.

As for me? i like it, it seems like NE will get glaives too, that are not DH only, so that's a plus.

I'm kinda getting sick of councils. Another fictional universe that I'm currently consuming has 'council' as an answer to every type of political unrest and its.. I get the idea, give everyone a say because its multiple groups in an area. But it's just a meme at this point.

I think the healthiest way to look at it is it isnt a ruling body, it's a way for different factions to decide on courses of action. Definitely more balanced than multiple factions putting in their word and having 1 ruler make the choice.

I think it's all right. Definitely not a disaster, but not perfect either.

It's a little bit too busy for my taste. I don't think lots of (relatively big) 3D details fit a Night Elf armour set, since they're meant to be agile and travel light in a forest. There's just an excessive amount of plate armour details on it.

I'll probably use bits and pieces of it combined with some other items.

How does Arthas being a Menethil still get brought up as a potential issue to Forsaken at large? There is a plaque at the elevator to Undercity that specifically states that they choose to not blame the Menethils for what Arthas did, and that they choose to judge him on his own merits, rather than being his name into it.

The Chest armor complaint is funny because you can LITERALLY hide it and just wear a bra.

The colors are way better than purple and gold. The Darnassus colors, which were ugly to begin with, got lots of hate in BFA for good reason.

I think they will be changing out the Nelf flag and colors anyway, similar to Forsaken.

I like it, but I feel like the leather wrap is weird. On the females they already have a breastplate, they should've just let that on without the leather wrap. On the males it just looks weird period.

No. I never once installed an nsfw mod and I want something like that. I don't even want a plain ol bra anyway. I want something more akin to this.

It's not just a bra, but it's a traditional looking breastplate that fits the Night Elf amazon aesthetic that they've had since WC3.

Something like that is better than a leather wrap. But again, I don't hate it. I just think it could be better.

I really like "return of the king" type of story as well so the idea of councils is so boring to me. This is fantasy setting specific though. Councils work so much better in a sci-fi universe.

I don't think there's a bra in the game that has the Night Elf architecture and colours though?

When it comes to warchiefs i can only see an orc on that position, i might be a little biased but i dunno, it just fits together.

This council i don't really care about, it makes some sense for the story i guess but it's just so boring, they also didn't really did much with it.

    Set is great.

But i really hope we get a silver/purple, or gold/purple recolor.
The 2 datamined sets are beautriful, and i'll probably incorporate the blue one into half my mogs, but i'll be quite disappointed if we don't get one with the actual night elf colors.

Idk, I dont see the fuss, the armor seems like a pretty natrual evolution of what is widely considered by the community as 'the' most iconic night elf armor/style

(also worth noting the set is still incomplete and not ready for public viewing so there are still chances for changes or tweaks)

I like the set but a more ummm modest version would be nice. And no I'm not saying this version shouldn't exist. Not at all, but fully clothed isn't bad persay.

Isn't the bra on the model the right color? Just hide the chest piece.

Just checked and it does match. It's a 2D texture but it gets rid of the strap people don't like.

I'd like to see the Alliance become more bellicose, but it would be utterly disastrous if they were just given the villain bat. Making the Alliance an imperialist,—but not villainous,—force seems like the best approach.

And if we have to democratize anything, let's at least make it realistic. Where is the emergent class of merchants waiting to foist a constitution on Anduin? Whenever democracies pop up in a fantasy setting, they never seem to emerge from the emergence of a powerful merchant class through industrialization, just from everybody deciding they'd like to have elections with no further context.

At the very least, the goblins would realistically run the Horde Council by now given that they're the only ones bothering to actually establish economic leverage.

What do you mean? Isn't that just the chest piece? They don't come separate, or am I missing something?

Agreed. Realistically, it'll probably just be a comically-obvious answer that comes in the expansion where it comes to fruition, if it is even relevant at all. Keep in mind the Circle of Stars just being a zone by that exact name in Nazjatar. These aren't as deep as some tend to make them out to be, and I wouldn't be surprised if some are just retroactively-vindicated after being written to cash in on the hype and make the story look more well-planned than it ever really was.

I wonder what the armor designers have against really large boots though. This is the same thing we had with the human set. Just make the actual protective part go up to the knee.

This doesn't always mean they'll be an actual rep, though, right? Lot of things have actual reputation things in game but they're not available to players.

Probably afraid it'll clip I'm guessing. They do have non 3D boots that go past the knees though.

Has to do with a disguise quest, I presume. I think that's how it used to work, and I figure it works that way still.
