I have my doubts as to when that story was written and if it still aligns with future post-TWW-launch plans for TWS, especially as its cover art is based off the older portrayal of Faerin and the Arathi will seemingly play a reduced role in the saga vs older Avaloren plans.

Regarding renown tracks, I can see Midnight doing this:
12.0 tracks: The Elven Unity, The Amani, a group of rebellious Naga, and either a Dwarf based one or summ idk.
12.1 track: The Arathi Empire
12.2: Something Light-related, probably.

"The Arathi have battled the Nerubians for centuries"
...And people don't assume Nerubians probably exist outside the regions we know of?

Cause, they could very easily make this work by saying the Nerubians exist at the Arathi Empire's continent as well.

Considering our last image of Illidan and Sargeras was Illidan essentially charging into a battle with him, it'd be so cool if there were a fight against Sargeras where we essentially interrupt what has been an eternal battle between the two of them to try and turn the tides against Sargeras.
I don't think that's the case. Its a story about a lost Arathi queen who also a descendent of Quel'thalas and meets a magical light lady who can transform into a human, elf and troll. And she only gets her magical light powers once she says she doesn't just want to defend her people but all lands. The foreshadowing is pretty on the nose.
If it were some holdover from old Arathi lore then it probably would have been more world-building for Avaloren and not EK/Quel'thalas.
TLT better give us the tinkers.
Apparently the monk class designer originally wanted to work on the tinker and already had a project. But Blizzard refused and asked him to work on the monk instead. What a waste... we could have had the tinker a decade ago.

Actually, I had another idea: 13.1's raid being us against the Titans!
Every boss would be a Titan, with Sargeras being the final boss.
Middle raid for the final expac of what is essentially the culmination of Warcraft's first 30 years. Boom!

Regarding the first raid's final boss for TLT? I had some theories in mind:
-Helya Vs Us and the Keepers
-Odyn Vs Us and Tyr
-Us, The Keepers and the Aspects Vs Chromatus

I thought we'd see Chromatus in DF, but I was wrong. At the very least, LEMME BE RIGHT FOR THIS ONE BLIZZARD PLEASE!!!!
i was thinking about how they most sirtainly will not wecome us in ther lands, so, we will be treted as invaders to ther empire, at the points we shouldn't be they can put giant cannons and mortars shooting and gryphon riders (or whatever flying creature they use ) to shoot as down.
i mean, IF they decide to continue with this "expanded storytelling" type of expansions. maybe we will have this just in the WSS

Speaking of the Arathi, I can well imagine the Emperor coming in person during Midnight aboard a colossal fleet of ships, illuminating the horizon and dissipating little by little as they approach Quel'thalas. The Emperor lands and with a snap of his fingers, puts an end to the Void invasion of the Sunwell. However, he notices the presence of the Void Elves and, shocked to see such decadence, decides to kill them all on sight. Perhaps this is what Metzen is talking about when he says that things will quickly degenerate? Suddenly, the light that was our ally in banishing the shadow forever becomes our next enemy.
That said, I find it very boring that the inhabitants of Hallowfall are boring humans... A species of cave lizard that worships the light, much like this thing:
would have been so much more interesting. I mean, they could have so easily introduced new races that are different from what we usually see given the setting of the expansion which takes place underground, but instead we end up with spiders that we have already seen before, humans and dwarves. What a waste!
