There was actually a Spanish content creator who said that a dev slipped up and told his team that multiple classes were coming during the Saga, all the way back at Blizzcon.


I've been hoping it's true. At the very least, that same creator went on to hype up the Warcraft Direct (which revealed housing) as the biggest development since the start of WoW, so either he made a lucky guess there or had at least enough inside information to know it was going to be huge.

Damn I watched the video, not sure on the validity of the streamer, maybe someone who knows him better might shed some light, but that's potentially confirming more then 1 class this saga?

Not really a hot topic item but every expansion I love to hear about the incremental graphics upgrades they’ve made to the game.

Increased render distance in Dragonflight, improved fog in BFA, improved lighting in WoD, that sorta thing. I think the only improvements done for TWW were how water behaves on the edge of the shore, but it’s super subtle. And more weather, pls. TWW felt lacking in that area given the whole underground thing.

Volumetric fog got some nice updates in TWW but we've only largely seen that in practice underground. I think we'll get some pretty vistas in Midnight for sure.

There's also their new model format that will allow them to make much fancier models, too.

Full revamp of the northern eastern kingdoms and not only queltalas. I think this would leave me the most happy in the long run

I'm definitely with you on this one. I've bought into my personal hopium with the Red Dawn storyline, Tyr's Guard setup, and Faerin audio novella for this.

EDIT: And the Gilneas reclamation storyline back in 10.2.7.

Elves should be a major part of every expansion moving forward as they are a significant part of what pays the bills and keeps the role-playing community active.

Other playable races should get some time in the spotlight but I think people exaggerate how much time in the spotlight Elves get compared to other races, especially if we're talking satisfying depictions. Night Elves being the punching bags for nearly two decades does not really count as 'focus' in my eyes.

Most of the complaints about elves are just people lumping night and blood elves together as if they're the same race with similar lore and story. It's completely disingenuous whining. They may as well lump trolls in with the elves since they're all originally trolls.

Yeaaaa this would be a ton of fun. There's a lot of lore about the Amani being true savages, a bloodthirsty people with a massive chip on their shoulders. It'd be incredible to see that turned on the Void. The Horde extending a hand once again, the Blood Elves seeking to work with them to save their combined home land without forgetting old hatreds. Some inner faction turmoil may finally add some interesting notions, especially if we say, I dunno, finally get a Warchief again at some point. Bickering tribes that all know there is one leader who they must listen to.

So those of us that want to see other races like tauren involved in a major role should just sit aside for the elves? WoW is unique because of all the atypical fantasy races it has yet it chooses to focus on the ones seen in countless other IPs

Overanalyzing, but the off kilter youtube picture is always a red flag for a leak. The font is slightly different from what they've been advertising with (a heavier serif with a less pronounced gradient.)

I hope they announce that the trials and tribulations of the Elves will be an expansion long story topic.

We know we are getting the unification of the elves, but I hope it's an expansion long struggle, STRUGGLE, to get them on the same page and agree. I want to be herding Elves like cats, both factions, and the neutral ones. Let it be an issue shown from all sides before resolving it, and not something we figure out during leveling and finish in the S1 raid. Make us work to get these assholes to agree, so that when they finally do we can be done with ALL elf content for a good long while and concentrate on the other races for once.

Let there be General Elf Fatigue™ after this expansion that forces Blizz to start working on shining a light on all the other races, including many of the Allied races who have not had a single update after they were added.
