Azshara having yellow eyes (meaning she got Lightforged/Lightbound) aligns well with her personality of getting power from whoever is ready to give it to her. I cant see her being visited by the Naaru while being in Nzoth's captivity who offered her freedom in exchange of getting Lightbound. And thus she accepted that offer and Light allowed her to escape and give her legs back as she is no longer need the tentacles.

Actually her having glowing yellow eyes has to do with her being forsaken. it shows she is willing to die for a greater good of all. Masteful writing, i am literally shaking right now.

What is everyone's "ONE HOT TOPIC ITEM" they would like to be announced tomorrow? Just one.

For me, I really want to see a "Void vs. Light" system of some sort. Whether that be a power grind, cosmetic enhancements to gear/spells, etc.

Northern ek revamp. I want them to revamp everything eventually even if it takes 15 years. They have a consistent art style now since WoD/Legion. Graphics are barely any better than the previous expansion if at all at this point. Nows the perfect time to do a revamp piece meal.

A seperate account followed up with a picture of an orc in Marduum, but it was obviously a private server type of situation. This led to the original sort of being written off, but I'm still holding out for it. They haven't followed up yet.

Giving Orcs Marduum as their starting zone doesn't make sense, but I totally see Blizzard doing that just for the Gamescom Demo (as in their actual starting experience isn't done yet.) So I'm still holding out hope.

Don't think so. Denathrius deserves more than show up as a side villain again and then just disappear for TLL and wait for the WSS to resolve itself. I think Denathrius should come in the post WSS era.

If its good enough for Azshara isn't it good enough for Denathrius? I see them both being villains who periodically show up but never die.

Elves are a huge part of the setting overall and exceptionally popular.

Shockingly, they may get a bit of focus in Midnight after being largely ignored in favour of orcs, humans and undead during what many falsely attribute as 'too much elf screentime'.

Lets knock it off with the reskins and be more original.
Doesnt matter if it an elf, gnome or dwarf, its just lazy and should just have been costumization options.

Midnight is thematically a bad fit because it's all about a world ending threat. Not really the time to go digging around for old vases.

TLT would be a better fit, there might not be an imminent world ending threat, but even if there is, it will lean more into digging into the the history of the Titans on Azeroth.

I don't think we need a narrative fit for a side profession if the gameplay fit is right. We're obviously still going to have people picking flowers and fishing while the world is ending. And if a narrative fit is required, one could absolutely be shoehorned in. "Perhaps the way to defeat the Void lies somewhere in our past!"

But I'm for sure with you that TLT would be great for archeology. But so would Midnight with all of the history that lies in Quel'Thalas and beyond.
