Listen if FF14 convinces WoW to finally make good on the idea of Player Boats then it's the best thing to come out of either game ever.

But I doubt it ever happens just because, like a world revamp, Blizzard doesn't like fun. Next expansion will probably just be "Oh we need to save the Emerald Dream from Void Corruption" or the ever-possible "Y'rel does Light Fascism WoD 2."

We all know it will be some "continent" with 4-5 zones, 8 dungeons and a raid. We can just dream for something different

It's more likely the "Eyes of Green" line refers to whatever Dreadlord is currently infiltrating Life forces.

And not any character that we know of.
Let alone any character that doesn't actually have green eyes (Alex has amber eyes)

So in that sense, it makes sense if the vassal is her vassal, somebody in her service perhaps. Another red dragon? Maybe Vyranoth was once sort of like a vassal before the War of the Scaleborn?

Anyway, it's also possible that Alexstrasza herself is the vassal. It just depends on whether Blizzard has a more metaphorical or literal interpretation of the word.
Right, she'd be a vassal towards the Titans.

Maybe the vassal and the one with green eyes arent thee same individual.

Chromie has green eyes and she just goofed up the timeline.

A vassal is typically a monarch themself. There is no reason a queen couldn't be a literal vassal - although I don't think this is really about literal feudal contracts. The Titans are her suzerain who granted her the powers over life in return for her allegiance. If that doesn't work as a vassalage analogy, I don't know.

And the disguised treachery is the forced infusion of order magic towards the unhatched eggs that Vyranoth called her out on

    It is the same individual.

It's a prophetic warning and both phrases belong to the same line of dialogue.
If it wasn't the same individual, they wouldn't have written it that way.

It isn't Chromie, what Chromie did she only did it to prevent Murozond from happening. It's a burden she has to live with... (But that's something for another day)

But if we are talking about Dreadlords disguising as the vassal of life. I want to pull this up.

The adherents to Life are the most insidious of opponents, perhaps because their nature is so antithetical to our own.
Still, we learned much from observing the link between their plane and Ardenweald, and we have high confidence that a vulnerability has been identified.
Our operative has already gained the trust of her target.
    -- Enemy Infiltration - Preface

This preface was written before Sargeras was corrupted. We don't know who the target is, but all we know is that whoever this dreadlord is a female Dreadlord and she might be hiding out in the Emerald Dream. A lot of people at the time thought it was someone in Ardenweald trying to get closer to the Winter Queen, but it was either never explored (cut content) or they were saving it for when we go into the Emerald Dream.

a holder of land by feudal tenure on conditions of homage and allegiance.

The vassal of life is Alex. Her treachery being her deal with the Titans and the forced order infusion that she regrets.

Eyes of green... Um, Chromie has green eyes and she just fucked up the timeline.
I wouldnt look to much into these riddles tbh.

Unless it's a character that hasn't been introduced yet, then the vassal has to be Alex.

She's the life binder and a vassal to the Titans.

The treachery she disguised is the forced infusion onto dragon eggs.

    It's clear as day...

Honestly, if Malfurion turns evil and becomes a raid boss. I have no issues or qualms of killing him off.

I mean, Malfurion has basically been a enormous dick ever since his introdcution in WC3, and he also hasnt really done much of importance since, soooo

Yeah, he might end up being like one of those raid bosses where you have to save him by healing him (like that green dragon in ICC, or the Sun King's Salvation in Castle Nathria)

Was he really? He came off kinda dickish in W3, mainly due to his treatment of Illidan, and some of that carried over to WoW. Don't remember anything else. For most of the times he was your standard "wise NPC" who would guide you around and point out objectives. Staghelm took over as an evil druid dude in the story.

Not sure how Malf would suddenly become active and evil. He is currently sleeping in Ardenweald in place of Ysera.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

He never struck me as a prick in Warcraft III, either. I always thought he was the more reasonable one next to the more brash and xenophobic Tyrande, and the only four relevant outbursts he had (to Tyrande freeing Illidan, Illidan taking the Skull of Gul'dan, towards Illidan when he believed Tyrande was dead, and Maiev lying to him about Tyrande's death) were fairly reasonable, with only the third seeming to significantly impede his senses.

True that. When he first encounter Alliance fighting undead, he was like "maybe we can join forces", but Tyrande was "fuck no, they killed Cenarius".
