DF was not really leaked i mean, that guy was just accurate in predictions as well as many other people who said next expac will be DF, because 99% of his other statement (other than "ho its about dragon") was wrong... Originally Posted by locketto

While I do think it can be fun to speculate about the various Old God/Void whispers, remember that they are also infuriatingly vague at the best of times and they can be used to point to any number of things.
"Five keys to open our way. Five torches to light our path." for example. The Pillars of Creation? World Trees? Dragonflights?
That being said at least they aren't as damned vague as those Chinese leaks from years back. Those always annoy the hell out of me.

I'm 90% convinced Dragonflight was controlled leak, at least name leak. People were DONE with SL themes and made wild visions about 10.0 content. Then we had two separate leaks: DF name from Blizzard page, then guy talking about every major detail like he had access to whole video.
I hope it doesn't repeat. For sure on stage Blizzcon could help. Legion, BfA had people in this forum leaking major bullet points, but it get drowned in rest (for people who don't know, this thread will move 100 pages every day in October), SL had screenshots leaks that doesn't really tell anything as most were expecting afterlife or scourge expac anyway. But DF was so detailed it completely convinced everyone and kill whole excitement from speculations.

took them just 20 years, and it's blue. another year and we'll have a red-black variant; another five and we'll have a full body cloak. trust the plan.
honorable mention for the gilnean 5 symbol on the warrior shield, present in the universe since wc2.
