    wow is ded game

on a serious not i am liking the way they have gone with world events this expansion as it seems to be an evolution of the previous systems used in like MoP

Regarding archeology, if they make It a system in which you record... Practically everything, they could add it for the Dragon Isles and the expand it. Take the new WQs of taking pictures and climbing and link them to archeology:

    - Take pictures of every creature in the world, you get a new entry in your journal with every picture, with some text and a cool picture of the creature.

    - Set climbing points all over the world. Make them a little challenge. When you reach the top you get a nice view of some historic building or beautiful scenery. Take a picture from there. Get another entry with some text.

    - Link achievements and cosmetics to these new activities linked to archeology.

Its just and idea but they could do so many cool things with archeology.
based on the road map there has to be a 10.3 whether that includes a new raid or just an epilogue patch with s4 systems i have no clue

To be honest getting three major patches in an expac usually meant there was at least one side raid dealing with a different story. Three major raids plus a Fated Season makes sense to me. I just hope that when there is a fated season for DF, they actually give content for everyone. And I sincerely hope that for once Blizzard makes an effort with their epilogue and ties loose ends with quests.

How was SL Season 4 not for everyone? LFR and world bosses were included in the Fated system.

Or do you mean Fated world quests and pet battles?
But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

Yes, it needs to affect world content somehow as well. Maybe give the affix to certain rares?

So I finally played the Ysera return questline and apart from it being totally redundant and superfluous (why did we sacrifice Malfurion just to recognize that the real aspect, Merithra, was with us all the time and Ysera is essentially useless?) it is clear as day that the new nightelf home will be in the dragon isles. I mean in that questline the seed even began to sprout in the location of the dragon isles inside the dream. How can anyone not believe the new world tree will be there?

Also, couldn't Malfurion have fucked the Primalists up exactly as hard as Ysera did if not harder?

Or maybe this is just premature judgment. Could be that the underground area is not as big or extensive as it seems, or otherwise is just a small sidearea next to the launch zones.
Existence of roadmap and 10.2 this year pretty much confirms 10.3. They could easily end 2023 on 10.1.7 if they want repeat SL seasons.

Other possibility would be expac even earlier during 2024, but I dont think production can go faster than 2 years. SL had 3 raids simply because delays in 2021 happened and later DF production was too advanced to invest in one more raid patch.

Shame it's a confirmed piece of fanart. Would have been an interesting piece of discussion if not, especially since Stratholme has little to nothing to do with Dragonflight.

But maybe for other expansions or patches in the future.

True. It would be a perfect fit for the Mega dungeon treatment. You could have varied bosses, a d a new and interesting layout. It would also allow plenty of new assets to be made for Human and Forsaken buildings.

Stratholme is tentatively linked to this expansion by Yogg/Galakrond who dance around the powers of Death and Decay. It would be a longshot, but I could see us returning to the Plaguelands (as an excuse to update them) in order to find a cure for Decay if it starts spreading on the Dragon Isles.

Also close proximity to the Church, and we're going to meet (a) Tyr properly soon. Maybe we should reopen the "Avaloren is North EK" theory?

The link to Decay is definitely one that could work. Would definitely be a B-plot though, but really so was Mechagon as well.

It's also directly south of the Dragon Isles, which lead to the all the speculation of a "DI + Lordaeron" expansion. Would be funny if they do Plaguelands but skip Tirisfal and Quel'thalas for obvious reasons.

I think some old maps had a small island below the Azure Span, where the gnolls are, so maybe there will be a small area between them to lead to it?

i thought Strat would be have to be updated if they decided to properly implement and upgrade Quel'thalas. i don't see how it could be done this expansion, but it's a good fit if the army of the Light is coming in 11.0. a bit too early if next patch.

This is super conspiracy, as I don't even know if that art is real, but the "light" coming from behind Stratholme's wall in that art looks kind of like the "dull grey light" from the Mag'har character screen. Which I think was to symbolize the Lightbound corruption.

that fits though - yes, even the light in the mag'har character screen, if a bit far-fetched.
what was the bargain the Light made with Death again?
