Odyn is really the "so lawful it becomes somewhat evil" case. Much of what happened to the Titanforged in Azeroth stems from his interpretation of the Pantheon's Intent, not from their design or from the other keepers. Yes, Tyr did change natural evolution for proto dragons by meddling and infusing them with Order but there is really no proof that Titan intervention has been detrimental to the planet. I do want to see what Freya did; one of the main goals of the Primalists is to assault the Dream after all. The natural creatures and the Wild Gods very much do not look unnatural, mechanical or order aligned in any way but they very much were shaped by a Keeper beholden to the Pantheon.

Really my only issue with this is that we have faced Odyn multiple times in combat already. But I still think we are going to see him eventually. Heck a revamped Ulduar raid (graphically remastered) where Tyr's faction faces off against Odyn's faction would be a solid raid imo.

I see top threads are now "DF is most alt unfriendly expansion" and "bring back mission table". Glad to see MMO-Champion is back to normal.

I think we're definitely going to get Odyn vs Tyr, and maybe Wrathion vs Sabellian was a kind of thematic hint at this. There is a datamined Sons of Hodir tabard that MIGHT be a Trading Post item (they originally never had a tabard) but maybe is a hint that we will be going back to Ulduar and Storm Peaks as a result of this storyline.

This makes even more sense IMO considering we now know that Yogg was responsible for Galakrond.

Ye well, OPs blatant bullshit got instantly nuked there. Now they just mainly talk about alts across the expansions.

Tbh I... dislike these threads - even if the discussion in the replies is constructive now, they keep putting a stupid and/or baiting thread title on the front page over and over.
But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

Well, ye. We got these smear threads every new xpac, and people who put them are either INSANELY misinformed or just want to shit on the game (probably the latter). Been like that since I remember (lol worgen Twilight shit!).

Makes you wonder how many are trolling, and how many are genuinely serious.

It does make me wonder what fun features Blizzard will add to future DF patches though. Feels like there has to be something.

wanna point out you should do the hunt 3 times per week. if you have only been doing it once youve been missing out. but yeah after 1 siege, 1 soup, and 3 hunts that is just miniscule bonuses.

Players need something to work on while they're at max level. Time and time again Blizzard showed that their approach is either 100% or 0%, there is no middle ground. It was obvious that this expansion will lack something at max level when we knew about the missing progression system. You level up to max and the only progression then is itemlevel - that proved to be a terrible thing ten years ago and that's why they started the borrowed power stuff. The problem never was borrowed power, it was how they implemented it for just one expansion and then trashed all the progress you made during the lifetime of the expansion.

    Yeah, I meant 3x hunts.

To be fair, if you do an off-hours soup and thus get a lot of tasks, you can make quite a bit of rep, even after your first go-around.
Hell the "protect the soup" mobs are more than a rare and theres like 3-4 of em.

I think this has been mentioned before, but with the theme of the first raid's armor being rocks/crystals... what in the world is the aesthetic going to be for an underground patch? They can't do it twice.

I wonder if this patch's tier armor was actually repurposed from that one. Yes, the Vault is in a mountain, but that's about it.

EDIT: I think we'll get titan tier armor sets, but besides that I'm not sure on the themes. "Infinite" doesn't really have a singular aesthetic, neither does Galakrond/Decay (unless we get Gnoll armor sets which I would love).

I guess it depends what the actual raid for 10.1 is going to be.

I could see it being Titan-themed or a classical draconic theme if the raid is about Neltharion.

Personally I would love something that's a bit of a Dwarvish/Titan fusion. Assuming Khaz Algar is down there. We've never really had any armor styled after dwarves.

Indeed 10.1 potential theme feel too similar to 10.0. That's why I would like Emerald Dream/Green DF breather between these two. But it doesn't mean it won't happen, we often get similar themes back-to-back.

I think a Dream/Green patch is actually very likely, not only because of the setup with Ysera and Decay being a big threat to the Dream, but because the Centaur renown is smaller than the Tuskarr and Aspect renown.

I don't think it proves anything, but the Expedition and Centaur ones are smaller than the others... and the Expedition and Centaur have the biggest connections to future plot hooks (Titans/Exploration, and the Dream/Decay through their connection to the Green).

A dwarf spin on the usual titan gear would be a nice way to spice it up. I think Khaz Algar has to be tied to this expansion, it has a much greater chance than Avaloren.

I was kinda hoping Avaloren was bigger then just a titan facility. Then again it would be interesting for a patch zone to be an entire Titan facility(As in its all inside, no outside).

Avaloren is probably gonna be a patch zone off the coast of the Plains for the Emerald/Green Dragonflight. Blizzard likes the take existing concepts and improve them. Although this one is cutting it close if they do it (Especially with GW being so....lawsuit happy)

    Avelorn in Warhammer

Khaz Algar is also going to probably be a patch zone, and if I had to guess I'd say it will be below the Halls of Infusion in the blackness/void that they have still not blocked off below the dungeon. Would be a really neat thing to see. Dwarves in or under the Waking Shore would also be cool. Desert/Arid Dwarves are pretty nonpresent in WoW outside of a couple bases in the Barrens, but are in other mediums and are a really neat thing.

Edit: To add to the Khaz Algar., WoW has basically one underground zone and it wasn't anything special. ESO in the Greymoor expansion, and Blackrock Depths, kind of prove the concept works you just gotta make it right. The other option for Khaz Algar is a dungeon. The Mega Dungeon, but I honestly think they will have the Mega Dungeon be something out of left field, atleast with what we know so far.

Edit Edit: I am really enjoying this expansion. This is the first time since MoP I have truly felt like I can play for days, hours, weeks, months, and not get bored. Blizzard did a great job.

The infinite patch could easily give each class a set based upon one hero of that class from it's past. Imagine a Jaina set for Mages, Uther for Paladin, Saurfang/HD T1 for Warriors etc.

I'm still hoping for Firelands 2.0 for the Megadungeon this time, similiar to Karazhan 2.0 back in Legion.
