The 10.1.7 splash screen says the following:
"Battle dream-empowered foes across the Dragon Isles as Amirdrassil prepares to bloom!"
I suppose we already knew, but it's interesting to have even more confirmation of where we're going next.

Amirdrassil is currently INSIDE of the Emerald Dream (remember the seed stuff?). Also, nothing OFFICIALLY has been said at all about 10.2 from Blizzard, so any datamining you may have seen is just speculation, so I wouldn't worry about something that isn't even confirmed/available, yet...
We don't really know what form any of it will take, right?
Could be a Dream zone inside the portal.
Could be one inside with stuff also leaking out.
Could be a tree so large it has become a zone.
Could be a smaller tree that sits within a zone.
Could be a tree entirely in the Dream or outside.
Could be a tree that exists in both domains at once.
If he announces Cataclysm again, they need him to scream it, and one of the speakers needs to blow up.

Idk. If the patch is on the scale of Argus, I see that as a pretty large game update.

You are embarrassing yourself. FF14 is just as cpu heavy, and has more buttons than WoW does. Works fine on a controller.

Remember the new Ironforge guards and dwarf tank? Well now we have more mole machines.
That seems highly unlikely since Elune is some sort of universe spanning space deity (and Life is a universe-spanning force) and the dream has never been shown as anything but an Azeroth-specific plane with specifically Azeroth related beings in it. I also have to imagine that if the Dream were Elune's realm, she would have just casually one-shot Xavius for fucking around in her plane and nearly getting the entire thing consumed by Old God corruption, since neither he nor the Old Gods should be much of a threat to someone operating on Elune's powerlevel. Elune was able to seemingly effortlessly trigger a lunar eclipse on Azeroth and erase the Nightmare's corruption of a titan pillar, so it makes no sense that the Nightmare would be able to gain any sort of foothold and grow unchecked within her own realm. Thiernax borrowed a fraction of her power and was able to win an all out war against the Old God on his planet.
Elune is in whatever the Lifelands are; some celestial realm akin to the Shadowlands that likely has it's own people and civilizations and produces "souls" for the entirety of the universe and all the planets in it. The Dream is just the Emerald Dream, a small druidic plane connected to Azeroth that has to deal with Azeroth-specific threats, is curated by Azeroth-born creatures and needs help from Azeroth mortals to handle anything that happens.
new dungeon Emerald Dreamway?
timewalking dungeon access restriction reduced to level 45... should we read something more in this?....
You are sorta conflating stuff though.
Helheim is linked to the shadowlands. Icecrown is linked to the Shadowlands. Thros is linked to the Shadowlands. Lots of places have links to other planes. The Dream and Ardenweald are linked because Ardenweald is the death-realm to which nature spirits and minor deities like Loa and Wild Gods go, and the Emerald Dream is a nature magic plane. Not because they are a pair of two opposite realms. You can very objectively see that they aren't even close to the same thing. The Emerald Dream equivalent realm in death is Thros, not Ardenweald.
Ardenweald is a novel realm that has its own peoples and society that actively care for souls in order to rebirth them back into their own places. It's full of souls from all across the cosmos, because the realms of Death are universal.
The Emerald Dream is a pocket dimension of Azeroth that has no native inhabitants, populated by people from Azeroth who just look after the dream. The only things that have EVER been depicted in it are things from Azeroth that have entered or been sent into it from Azeroth. It exists just as a reflection of Azeroth (I know people really like to jump on this with "But the Titans!!!!" but you can physically SEE that it is just mirroring the planet in the Nightmare raid, where you literally go place to place, Thunderbluff, Un'goro, Grizzly Hills, Moon Glade, etc. It doesn't exist as an independent realm of Life, it's fundamentally based on a single planet. Regardless of how the Titans modified it, nothing about the Dream is anything BUT Azeroth.
Also, again, the Nightmare makes absolutely no sense if the Dream is Elune's realm.

Eh?
Blizz is really yo-yo on their catch up mechanics
They want you to be able to boost alts but also limit the currency to do that and that was fine when it was BoA but then it changed to BoP
I don't get it but I do like the equalization of gear
Now world content players can get up to high heroic raid levels
