I can also see them scrapping all new game mode events besides Remixes. Easier to implement and more popular. The only issue would be players WOULD definitely run out of content after doing all of them.

They can add new stuff each time the same remix appears. They still can unlock mage tower appearances in the next Legion Remix and add new stuff like the Sargerei Commander set.

Yeah. I would be surprised if they didnt add the CM recolours to the next MoP remix (classic got them already so they DID remember them), aswell as the Curve Wolve because people will have forgotten about their QQ when they wanted to add it in the first one.

And Legion Remix ..... somehow managed to still leave a good bunch of new mount options open for the re-run. Unarmoured gladiator stormdrakes, felbats with silver armour instead of the golden one (or no armour at all), emerald nightmare mounts including drakes or a nightmare bear or spider. Sentinax mount anyone?

Even the fel class mounts could easily recoloured to be nightmare themed next time.

Sounds to me like a customizable mount. The only thing that sticks out as weird is the Head (Dragon riding). But that could just be some internal thing that makes sense to the developers.

Maybe a mount based on the Chimaera boss in Harandar?

Could be. The customizable head stuff doesn't make sense to me though. The names for the armour options have had a very distinct theme, and I don't think Head (Parrot) really fits it. But maybe it's just a placeholder name in that case.

Not being excited about feature sets or expansion themes/vibes has never been a problem for me, as I'm usually more anticipating the experience I'll have - which has been fun enough to keep me coming back for decades (well, I started mid bc, I'm personally just under plural decades).

But I'm not liking the direction Blizz is going in as a whole with Midnight. The addon/combat changes, the hearthsteel currency* - the lack of ability to trust the things they are saying because we can't even be sure they know what they're saying (Ion admitted their messaging was scattered and incoherent; they said they would start light with the addon changes, then on the first go they went beyond where they said they wanted to end up; so was that an internal miscommunication or an external one? which is worse, inability to communicate with their own teams who are making their products or inability to communicate with their customers they're asking to buy their products?)

*I have no problem with microtransactions, I've bought a couple shop items; but the specific currency is inherently problematic. eg, you want an item that costs 110 hearthsteel but it only comes in quantities of 100. I know we don't know prices/etc yet, and I will gladly and loudly say I was wrong; but Ion's justification of "oh we want you to be able to buy a dozen things in one transaction" doesn't even make sense. You can do that on the cash shop. Is there any customer who is thinking, "whew, converting from cash to hearthsteel is gonna make it easier to buy!"

I've gone from pre-ordering every xpac since I started playing (was in line for midnight releases of Wrath and Cata), to not being sure if I'll pre-order Midnight, to not being sure if I'll play Midnight at launch. At this point I imagine I'll play it eventually, but if my concerns aren't addressed then that is potentially off the table as well.

Right, and there being no correlation (that I can think of) between the three animal heads makes it look like that may be the case

I hope they didn't make that other quest writer clean toilets for the rest of the pay period, because they definitely swapped them out.

It would. And it would be nice to have more options.

Still, I have to admit that seeing more customization options for Dracthyr is a bit bittersweet. Because it's a constant reminder that Evokers are always at the mercy of developers to actually give new options that hopefully fit a variety of themes and armour tints. Rather than just endeavoring to actually let them use transmog normally.

I'm pretty unsure as to what those customizations could be, but I'm leaning more towards Rostrum mount. The selections don't really indicate Dracthyr, which already has a lot of these available, which I would assume would make the "New 00" > "None" wrong.

Chimaerus type of mount does sound like a possibility with those head styles. Still waiting on that Panthera Rostrum mount that had a string datamined. Maybe add it to the "What the hell are the Nethersent??" pile.

I looked over everything and basically, it is much more meditative experience as you visit the Outland version of Nagrand in which there's a bit more of a nuanced take of why Garrosh ended up the way he did and also putting some blame on Thrall positioning someone who definitely shouldn't be put in that position. It still does keep the eye on the future with Gorgonna as leader of the Warsong Clan but I'm totally fine with that.

Its far far better than the previous iteration though to a degree I actually find it actually came off as actually interesting to engage with.
