They even described Nathanos' home as being in the forests of Quel'thalas, but that's nestled in the area that became the plaguelands, complete with other Farstrider Lodges. I'm sure at some point the elves thought of the Hinterlands as Quel'thalas.

The Elves also placed a runestone on Caer Darrow, which was way out to the west - though that may have been before the founding of Quel‘Thalas entirely.

A Feat of Strength most likely related to the mysterious Hooded Figure from MoP Remix, and now Legion Remix, a named NPC in 12.0. Looks like Ratt's Revenge got a good reception and they're adding a lot more secret finding stuff. Very excited!

because warglaives have their own unique animation set? We sure as fuck dont need less animation sets for weapons in this game Lmao have you seen how bad the night born "warglaive" looks with sword animations? especially when duel wielding

I hate how Haranir, a Danuser OC leftover from his time, are just stealing any night elf spotlight they could have in midnight and possibly TLT and future stories about the world trees, blatantly copying the NE fantasy, model with even better customization options and adding them to the horde.

They may as well add amani to the alliance now, as we're at a point were everything is ok to join the horde, which looks like an alliance + horde faction, while nothing horde-looking can join the alliance.

I mentioned it before but the NE fantasy went from savage primal elves to Basically Highborne + druids in Vanilla, and then Basically Highborne + Highborne + druids in Cata. Beyond the world tree wanking, Haranir are aping something that WoW Nelves wanted but never really got.

They are just Night Elf Druids multiclassing with a Fungal Folly theming + Rift of Aln stuff, which is cool IMO as it's the exact opposite of the Dream. If they had tapped into the Aln stuff more in their appearance and culture that would be nice.

They would have starcraft & warcraft competitions in the past, but they haven't covered HoTS since live updates for it ended. But now it could be a good idea to resume updates for the show in Microsoft wants a Moba. LoL essentially won the Moba wars but they still should have some competition other than........ pokemon unite?

To add to this, the Harronir are far more Feywild than Night Elves ever were. Even in WC3.

They weren't that "savage and primal" in W3, they were also civilised and had actual armies, plate armor (warden), moon priesteses and so on. They were more like lothlorien elves. The problem is that the highborne stuff was poached by the nightborne which was also given exclusively to the horde, and now this with the haranir. NE are the race who got f**** over the most in wow with W3 ending, cata and bfa, and they now just keep losing their cool bits to other neutral or even horde races.

So yeah, F**** you if you like playing night elves, as they are losing stuff nonstop and anything cool about them is taken by other races, some of which you can't even play in your faction. The only solution is to have an actual cool NE focused northen kalimdor revamp whith Darnassus or whatever new city they get as the new hub.
