Yes it's a bit narratively iffy how a zealot decided to blow off killing demons for a while, but it is to protect Silver moon after all.
It's been many years since the return of the Illidari in-universe. The Illidari are ambitious and arrogant, it's not hard to imagine a scenario where a Demon Hunter, not satisfied with the power of the Fel, sought the power of the Void as well (AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF LEGION). Which would naturally lead said DH to Telogrus Rift, to study the Void alongside many other ambitious elves.

We already have a character who can merge Void and Death into one body (Void elf Death Knight). Void elf Demon Hunter would also make sense and it would merge Void and Fel into one body.

I think Tarjin was very specific that they made an alliance. They were not empowered they just agreed to work together.

They already said the plan is to give us PTR as soon as the latest update hits liveservers (and presumably is free of bugs). Not sure how quick we got the last one after the trading post announcement?

But upon her journey, a massive being of elemental magic approached her. An Incarnate of the earth itself.
This Incarnate, Iridikron, asked the warlord what she would be willing to do to end the reign of the Aspects.
The warlord answered as any djaradin would: We would do anything.
Iridikron offered not power, but allies. An alliance of the Primalists and djaradin against the dragonflights.
Doesn't get more clear than this I reckon.

I like how human armor looks like a mixture of Varian's armor, Lothar's armor, and a footman armor from the movie. I hope Lothar is at least mentioned in the questline. I'd like to see something related to Stormwind's past in general, like the Gnoll War, the Gurubashi War or the First War. It will be terrible if the questline is all about Anduin Wrynn tho.

Orc armor is fine, i guess, definitely reminiscent of orcish grunt's aesthetic. But I'd rather see more red. Hell, I'd rather see something similar to Doomhammer's armor since we already have a lot of grunts sets. Both Doomhammer and Lothar deserve more recognition in lore.

So did they keep the Warden armor on that one-year timegate that was datamined from the PTR?

I think the helmet is awful on the Human Heritage, but also the colors are wonky overall. And the female human model is just tiny and lame so that doesn't help. Otherwise I think it's a lot more interesting looking than the Orc armor and I like how it seems to have an upper "coat" layer.

Being a warlock does not keep you from being Mag'har, all Mag'har means is that they weren't physically corrupted by demon blood. Besides, the defining "bad magic" for the core AU Mag'har is Light now, not Fel, so it would make a LOT of sense if the AU Mag'har started tapping into Fel in order to fight off oppressive Light.

Races overpowering and mastering "bad magic" in their culture to fight evil forces is cool, that's why I think Mag'har priests (and paladins, maybe one day) and warlocks are a cool idea. Same with Panda shadow priests, Undead light priests, Demon Hunters, etc. They are using the powers of their enemies against them.

Nah I would say Fel is still bad magic considering it wasn't that long ago the Legion was around.

I see no reason why they shouldnt? It's a coveted reward that will in some way engage the playerbase for most of the remaining time in the expansion.
If nothing else I want it to be there to ensure Blizzard is forced to ensure there are plenty of good rewards for all 12 months.

Yeah, no. For me it means I'm done. Zero lessons learned.

I hope they somehow work the WoD Gorehowl model either directly into the questline as a reward, or purchasable from a vendor akin to the Nightborne weapons/shields. The model is just sitting there, menacingly. Tantalizingly close.

Zero lessons learned? Because they aren't giving you HD shit for zero effort?

While it was a bit out of touch to not be an easy freebie because of sensitive Nelf fans, it's still a free (if you do wow tokens) piece of elaborate armor in two tints.

Thats not a reason at all to show they "Haven't learned lessons." You're being overly dramatic. Its one thing to do it for 12 months as thats a long time but giving it away for free lol you fooling yourself.

Honestly, how is this meaningfully different from What A Long Strange Tripe It's Been? It's a year long effort to do a minimum amount of stuff, awarding a cool cosmetic at the end.

Unless Rise of the Horde has been retconned, I am pretty sure that's not the case as evident there were orcs who never consumed Mannoroth's blood but were still changed. Being exposed to fel magic is what turned orcs green. Mannoroth's blood gave them bloodust which made their eyes red.

    The problem is the reward.
    It isn't the achievement.

People are upset that they are finally adding a warden set to the game, only to timegate it behind an achievement that takes a literal year to complete.
If it was one of the mounts, or if the set was themed after something that's less specifically related to a single racial faction, then nobody would care.

People keep bringing up Long Strange Trip while completely ignoring that the achievement reward for that is a recolor of a proto-drake.

The reverse courses are kicking my ass. I don't see what I am doing wrong but I am not getting above silver in most of them.

Is there a reward associated with them?

No idea. They are fun though! And I might be a bit dramatic, I am mainly failing with the two at the life pools (by about 2 secs though!)
