Did Blizzard ever talk about the 200 exterior decor limit? Or?

Cause I think I remember them talking about maybe expanding it in the future, but I forget where.

Kurlancheek: I'm going to reframe that to critical feedback because the biggest piece of feedback is just, "We want, give us more decor, give us more features, give us more of this, that and the other thing." I think one of the things that gets talked about most frequently is outdoor decor limits are too low. People want to be able to build more stuff outside their house. We're trying. We're going to see where things land and sort of, we want players to be as creative as they want to be. And placing restrictions on folks is never the goal in any of our sort of guiding principles.

Definitely sounds like something they wish to fix in the near future.
Honestly, even a cap of 400-500 would be an upgrade enough, ya know?

I think an extra 200-300 would be enough to not shatter the performance imo.

The servers seem stable enough with the 200 limit from what I've seen, so doubling it doesn't sound like too big an issue.

its not about servers its about player pc performance; my ideal solution is allowing smaller neighborhoods or allowing people in guild/charter neighborhoods to dynamically increase the limit by locking the neighborhood at X number of houses so like if you cap it at 2/3rds full you get an extra 33% etc

I was thinking this, and it would be perfect. If exterior limits can't be increased without smaller neighborhoods, it should be increased specifically for charters and guild hoods.
And for the people who refuse to join one of those, if they do singular lots in the future those instances could have a greater exterior limit.

I still stand by that the developers are just waiting for the initial housing hype to die down before they add more lenient limits on outside builds.
Much easier to just wait for the housing population to decrease by 90%, than it is to optimize around the assumption everyone in the game is using all the resources they have access to.
The world revamp dream will never die!

At the moment I'm thinking they are
All Pantheon Titans are World Souls and Argus is one too while being a newborn Titan. Plus the Void Lords wanted to absorb a world soul to become a Void Titan. So for the moment in the lore it seems Titan and World Souls are very related. Whoever gets the world soul a.k.a gets their own Titan than they'll rule.
Which is why I think the Last Titan is going to do a huge reveal where Aman'Thul just cheated and collected all the world souls before the other forces so only the Order side has Titans.
I'm also thinking Elune could be a life Titan that will help us against the Titans as the first non Order sided Titan, well second including Argus but the difference will be Elune will be a full grown full power Titan rather than a newborn baby one like Argus.
12/6/25 power level update - Azeroth > Sargeras > First OnesPantheon Titan > Mental Maiev > Meat Titan old god > Prime old gods > Void Titan Dimensius > Azshara with the true throne > Aegywnn > Avatar of Sargeras > Ula'tek > Irikdron at full power >> Xal'atath at full power >> Archimonde/Kil'jaeden > full power Dimensius without a void titan >> Argus >> Zovaal >> Lich King Arthas > Deathwing > Lei Shen

I don't think they meant for any of this to be confusing. And the devs have already portrayed the situation to us:
The First Ones made Zereth Mortis to make afterlives. Ostensibly, they made the other Zereths for other Purposes.
The Sepulcher in Zereth Mortis is the central apparatus of Zereth Mortis. Besides making those afterlives, there is also a device to harvest worldsouls, we also see it has a surplus of empty (Titan-like) Automa bodies; and those bodies were used to create the Eternal Ones.
We've already been told the Titans were "educated" in Zereth Ordus. Again, we can ostensibly gather that they were "educated" in Zereth Ordus the same way the Eternal Ones were "educated" (as in born & raised) in Zereth Mortis.
Elune, The Eternal Ones and the Titans are analogs, each group created to perform jobs assigned by the First Ones. The Titan title is a designation for their job. As the Titans are to order, the Eternal Ones are to death, etc.
Argus & Sargeras are Dark Titans. Sargeras, turned against the Pantheon he was created in & he birthed Argus in his image.
I think we're supposed to assume for the Titans & their kind to achieve full personhood, they need a worldsoul inside them. Otherwise they'd just be lower beings, like the Watchers & Keepers. The Titans, Elune & the Eternal Ones all have a wouldsoul inside them, because the First Ones or their descendants created their bodies & put the souls inside them.
Azeroth is also a Prime Worldsoul; which is established as a worldsoul that can reproduce. Perhaps Xal'atath wants Azeroth to ascend into a Dark Titan, or perhaps Azeroth has a baby worldsoul & gives it to Tyr, upgrading him into a full Titan. (meaning he's the last Titan.)

WoW. Why did we allow the thread to once again go down the Shadowlands rabbit hole, aswell as WEIRD powerlevel "discussions"? Can we please .... stop feeding, and go back to the actual thread? Like, housing, Ula'teks isle, blood elf bartender transmog or anything else actual relevant? Have you guys finished your end of patch season goals yet?
Yeah, it's the same reason they disabled the outside fire stuff for now. But isn't it already so that specific stuff won't load 'till you are close enough to the housing spot?
Also, something is bugged with the phase loading as my house always changes it's entry on the outside haha.
There isn't much new stuff to go on though...
