I have no horse in this race but there is an actual precedent for those mutated by old gods to be able to change back with Cho’Gall being mutated to a new form by what’s left of C’thun and being able to go back to his ogre form or any thing inbetween.

All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.
Told ya.
Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.
Well, another day, week or two weeks to go. Either way, it's not too big of a issue waiting.

I guess they decided to give this night's spotlight to Diablo. Makes sense, tbh. Has a bigger scope within the global gaming community than WoW, and has had a lot of bad rep lately.
Question is, will they announce 10.2 tomorrow or wait until next week?
Welp, till the next time, when Blizz will DEFO show a WoW patch on an independent gaming event stage.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Well, they did it for Diablo with really boring trailer. Even short clip with dragon flying through new zone would be more interesting for crowd.
Looks like it simply isn't time to show patch. For me it makes 10.3 less likely, 3rd or 4th raid would have to last only 4 months to fit everything if 10.2 launches in November (I treat release deadline on November '24 for 11.0 and at least 12 weeks for fated as constant).
10.2 is not the endpoint. I fail to see any logic to that point when the President of the company repeats not once but twice that Dragonflight has more legs to stand on.
"Cut & Runitis" is a completely skewed perspective that only exists because of the extraordinary situation that we were in 9x leading to people taking that into account for future expansions.

My concern is when 10.2 will hit PTR. If they want it to launch before Blizzcon, unless its PTR goes live tomorrow, they would barely get two months of testing. Two months for a patch that needs to be really big (I still hope that it would be the biggest patch in WoW's history). So, either It would not be that big, or they plan to release it after Blizzcon, seriously damaging the possibilities of a 10.3 proper patch.
Hopefully tomorrow they would show something, although it is unlikely because I think that is WoW's Hardcore launch.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
And who say 10.2 is endpoint. As I said multiple times, if there is season every 5-6 month + patch every 2-3 months, there is no content drought. We could have S3 + full 5 month fated S4 + multiple smaller patches in 2024. And again, it would still mean DF got most patch content of any expansion - beside raids.
Unless Ybarra straight up say 10.3 is a thing, nothing is confirmed.
I despise the semantics game, yes there's always some weird nonsense that people can concoct to start arguing that it is a completely okay decision to make to evade the x.3 question.
But, it is illogical from every standpoint beyond a pro-corporate one.
Whatever way the 10.3 question is sliced outside of the perspective of past x.3s' it is not a PR logic one but a wholly business oriented downsizing of the World of Warcraft product and lower costs.
There's nothing wrong with that mind you if you have the perspective from a business first mentality.
Absolutely if Blizzard Entertainment wants to downsize the game and lower costs while increasing profiteering from increased MTX spending that is wholly their prerogative to do so.
