I noticed how you said better threats rather than bigger threats because 150,000+ year old dragons equaled only by the titans & old gods are a pretty big threat. Plue I don't know what you mean by better threats because the Old Gods never actually pose much of a threat since their plans usually involve popping up, causing some nightmares & then dying. Big overture, little show.

Yeah, I am SO excited for these 10.1.7 quests (all of them). Notably, you must complete the "No Limits" quests, first, before moving on to the new "part 3" of Tyr stuff.

Agreed, especially number 2. Even during SL, people never really stopped farming Korthia rares. They were also mostly soloable. Zaralek rares are just a bit much. The elite area is also a bit over the top. Even with 440+ gear you still get smoked by those elites because of their ludicrous abilities.

The thing about Sabellian has nothing to do with 'kinda sus'. It is just very bad writing. They were both going back and forth between resentment and praise towards eachother constantly.

Imo they need to make rares scale from 1-20 players or so. 1 player can solo but it would be a little hard. I would rather the rares have telegraphed mechanics that take 60% of my hp but are avoidable than a rare that takes 3 mins to kill.

Make rares have like 2m hp in a current zone based on current stats so they die within a minute.
Make their white hits hit like noodles.
Give them a few telegraphed abilities to dodge that will kill you if you dont pay attention.

Makes the rares soloable and more fun tbh.


Then when a new zone comes out nerf all the rares to be super easy as their gear if not relevant any longer.

IE all rares have 1m hp and dont hit very hard in Forbidden Reach for example if they were to do that today.

Wasn't there a Black empire szenario datamined for 10.1.7?

Just think about what the old gods could have done if they got their hands on the memories of tyr. Turning dragons into decay monsters? Driving Aspects mad? Turning titanforged into fleshy beings? Weakening their prisons? Would be interesting if most of what the old gods did came down to the infinites supplying them with first hand informations.

But realistically? Its a chromie quest, so i am prepared to see some stupid "fun" quest.

Possibly very far back in time. Maybe another close to Galakrond visit...or the Black Empire era for the disc. With Nozdormu well at first I would think non infinite dragonflight but.... if the infinites are involved again, more murozond shennigans. Possibly Murozond may STILL be inevitable or consequences via Chromie's actions.


Probably all wrong I guess.

That would be an interesting way to continue that particular story arc, but I do hope the truce remains temporary. It's good to have relatively sympathetic antagonists for the long haul; best not to repeat the mistakes of the human heritage questline.

On the other hand, they do have a substantial number of Valdrakken assets already, which may mean any objections will be for naught.

I've been saying this since end of BFA- N'zoth is still alive. Fight ends on 2.5% or 0.5% (or was it 1%?) on Mythic.

Remember those timelines that we rushed right through when we were trying to find Chromie? Those are probably the areas that we'll be looking for the "lost disc" it isn't in just one point of history.. but probably scattered across different points in time.

One being the Gnoll War and the other being the Pandaren Revolution. There's also this bit of info about the Gnoll War that was pulled from the Chronicle.

The war dragged on until King Barathen Wrynn of Stormwind made a daring and desperate gamble in launching a small, elite assault on the relatively undefended base of Packlord Garfang in Redridge Mountains, where he succeeded in slaying the gnoll leader.

It was left ambiguous, because that small elite assault might actually be us, and this Gnoll Leader, Packlord Garfang, might be holding a fragment of Tyr's lost disk.

That's just my theory.

Like others said - all this pirate stuff is too much on the nose, unless that's them changing ways to tease the future expansion reveals..

Dropping a shitton of specific theme related items instead of some one little datafiles tease just looks weird and i think they're just fuckin' with people, still it might be only related to 10.3 pirate stuff at most, but i doubt it will be related to any 11.0 theme at this point.

Next expansion - Eternity's End (Shits gotten so bad at Blizzard they are stealing old patch names)

Iridikron fails to summon the Titans since ya know they are busy keeping Sargeras sealed and we stop Iridikron. He decides to infuse void into Azeroth's world soul who turns out to be the Titan of Eternity which she is so powerful and why souls on Azeroth are so powerful. Azeroth gets void infused and becomes the Titan of End as in the end of everything even more powerful than death. She still has a connection to us and the planet and so begins ending everything else in the universe including the Void Lords. This gives time for the First Ones to arrive on Azeroth with an ark offering to send as many inhabitants of Azeroth as they can to a Universe untouched by the First Ones. They are unable to join us and wait on Azeroth for the End. This is a way to soft reboot the game and Blizzard uses it to pull an Overwatch 2 with Wow.
