Two islands, an Old God and a formerly underwater realm that was exposed to open air when we went there. That's not exactly ocean themed. About the only thing N'zoth has to do with the ocean was his prison being underwater anyway.

Unless you want an underwater expansion, BFA is ocean themed...

You can't tell me with a straight face between naz and a giant squid god that BFA wasn't nautical themed.

turbulent timeways ends oct 31/nov but the week after is just regular timewalking, same thing happened with 10.1 release

They already soft rebooted. It's like you people pay no attention at all.

What do you consider a soft reboot? Shadowlands? DF? Cata?

Quite literally impossible unless a new Cosmology is made entirely. Besides, why is everyone so worked up on the First Ones? They themselves have no real presence in the Cosmic conflict.

If the First Ones created how things run then clearly there was something before their interference. People hate them because New Blizzard downgraded the old (as in created) gods, and turned the Shadowlands(and everything else) into a poorly built machine that the First Ones knew would fail and instead of fixing it gave us a teleporter so we could fix it for them. Billions of souls ground up in the Maw because the First Ones saw what the Jailer was going to do and didn't bother fixing it.

10.2 is going to be announced next Thursday, September 7, 2023. 10.2 will be released on November 7, 2023. (My predictions, of course, but feel free to save this post)

Pirates played a tiny part in BfA. This is like saying we’d never got Gnoll’s in a prominent setting because we just had Dragonflight.

And before anyone pipes up, I know Gnoll’s as a major player in an expansion won’t ever happen - but for totally different reasons than above.

That portal thats on that island west of the Ohn'ahran Plains is what I assumed how we'd get into the Emerald Dream. Even if the tree wasn't on the isles, the uhh giantnesss of the tree is a good way to use dragonriding as well.

I wouldn't say that's scummy, as it also allows everyone else to get an HD Dalaran staff without paying a cent.

That would be really cool.

If we do get a zone inside the ED, i would be pretty disappointed if they didn't use their traversal tech to make a seemless transition between the new zone and it.
Flying between the boughs/roots of the tree and entering the Dream wonderland style would be pretty sweet.

Even assuming we are not getting anything especially new like Battle ship systems there is still the simple fact that BfA was about going to known lands. A second seafaring expansion could be about going to new lands is the thing.
The island expeditions are definitely a point against it, but that system was awful and I wouldnt be surprised if its simply ignored in this context.

A low stakes expansion about going to either new lands, or exploring south seas islands that are not inhabited.

I'm going to use it for Kirin Tor themed mogs. It's not like dragon mogs only work for Evokers, or death themed mogs only work for Death Knights.
