What other way can they always entice you to log in and participate in content? Thats the problem with WoW now and the catch up systems in the past had been so generous they allowed me to still do what i do but still provide an incentive to logging in daily.

We head into face the Naga and their allies only to get fucked in a storm and end up on a lost island. Through leveling we see that canonically we are unable to use portals because we are near a titan facility and have to get help from the locals to get back. The first raid is us regaining that power and reconnecting with the rest of the world....after 5 years.

We must retake lost territories from our enemies and deal with the political changes from the last 5 years


I know we did just have our Greek expansion with DF but it would be fun to experience the odyssey

I love Azeroth, but I'm itching to go to another realm/planet again (unpopular opinion, I know).

I'm fine with traveling to other planets/worlds tbh.

But in TBC stile (through magic/ancient/demonic/whatever stuff.... PORTAL). And not mega-giga-blasting-nuclear-power-plant-alien-space-ships.

I wish we had raided/saved planets for a couple expansions to gather the army of light to fight the Burning Legion instead of that 3 second jaunt to Argus that we got.

Love watching Fyrakk, just so unhinged. I guess he still hasn't fully succumbed to the void from the looks of it.
My guess is he will go on a killing spree and that will make Vyranoth turn on him as she obviously doesn't want to kill more dragons.

What I'm curious about is how did she not know that consuming shadowflame will change him? Or was it only Iridikron who knew it was shadowflame?

I'm guessing iridikron is the only one with all the information
Dude is being built up as a mastermind while the others are Starscream and the eventual sacrifice after switching sides making Alexstraza question everything

Fyrakk is glorious even his last line "it's power will be ours" he's not talking about him and his sibling but the whispers

I like your 11.0 theory. It would be very cool if those Night Elf and Blood Elf ships were meant for this. What seems like a simple enough journey someplace lands us inside an unnatural storm.

End up shipwrecked somewhere. Like, truly shipwrecked this time. Not in a fancy Kul Tiran port city or some Zandalari Empire. Just a shitty island atoll out at sea.

We need to sort out our immediate situation, make a fire and a campsite, find a few survivors and fight off some Naga and Murlocs. Eventually our quest takes us to a little underwater cave or something where we defeat a local bad guy, perhaps a renegade sea giant or a Naga sorceress.

We find out more about our surroundings, and perhaps realise there's an even bigger island somewhere nearby. One thing leads to another and suddenly we're in the midst of some kind of nautical survival and exploration based adventure.

Maybe it's too similar to Exile's Reach and Nazjatar though.

Another use for those ships could perhaps be the Emerald Dream and the World Tree, I suppose. Either we traverse some lake or small sea within the Dream itself, or we need them to reach the tree in the Ohn'ahran plains. Seems a little superfluous with our dragons, though.

Same. I don't care what others think, I'm dying to go to K'aresh or some other Void-related realm/planet. But at this point I'm fine with the Light or Order realm too.
I never said "enough cosmic stuff", not even after SL, always been team cosmic, and I can't wait to leave this kind of "down-to-earth" style that DF offers, it bores me to death.

I would hate that as full expansion theme, things like void/old gods etc can work as single patch big zones and being mentioned in between, not full expansion with all zones based on it - it loses all the mysterious vibe about it when you're there all the time, seeing it all the time - just like afterlives of shadowlands..

About realms, you will be going already to Emerald dream next patch.

While I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum from you in this regard, I can definitely respect your preference there. I hope we all get something we like from the next expansion. I guess the optimal scenario is a large patch that gives us what the expansion does not.

11.0 will come after a trend of Pirates thanks to One Piece;

But overall I agree, Pirates again when BFA is only 5 years old...

Not that I like to put too much credence to what Towelliee says, but when MrGM asked on Twitter if people think the recent influx of pirate and nautical themes store items suggest what the next expansion will be about, the dude responded with: "Nope".

I don't think he's right necessarily, but it's still an interesting thought exercise. If the theme doesn't have anything to do with the sea, what else would make sense for 11.0?

From what i remember, good chunk of content creators are on private discord with blizzard devs, they probably just get told to just toy around/tease people.

Even if one of them knows something, they wouldn't be in a position of saying anything be it agreeing or denying something.

I am loving Fyrakk and we all kinda guessed that Vyranoth will turn against him/disagree with whats to come. Fyrakk to me is way more interesting then Iridikron! I am really hoping Vyranoth joins the Aspects, there was a line when DF was launching about "other voices being represented at the table" so hopefully this will be it

Make the pets of the Aspects believe that there is a breach between Fyrakk and Vyranoth, just to exploit it later. Sadly this is Blizzard and probably Vyranoth would befriend us.

I hope Vyranoth remains an antagonist and will still proceed with their original plan. It makes sense that Fyrakk will be a bit more crazy, but it would be stupid if she suddenly dropped everything after announcing "VENGEANCE IS ALL THAT REMAINS".
