I don't think Blizzard executed Dragonflight poorly, especially gameplay-wise. It's the lack of playable races/factions in the main plot that knocks me off.
I still don't understand why, all of a sudden, both the playable races and the factions were excluded from the main plot. Even Khadgar completely vanished after the Vault of the Incarnates.
What happened? This is not Warcraft anymore?
I also find it odd we are yet to see Ysera at all. Surely she has to be involved this patch..
Why? She will be involved in 10.2 for sure, she doesn't need to be here. And the Greens got some presence with Gerithos. Him, Merithra and Ysera are a decent cast though I wish they used Itharius who is the green we have the oldest relation to.
What IS needed is for a red dragon other than Alexstrasza to be important to the plot but that doesn't seem to be a priority.
The Tyranoth ship keeps on sailing!
I'm someone who tends to play WoW almost daily, since forever...
But in Dragonflight it almost feels like there is an overload of "cosmetic" content.
Trying to collect every possible thing and achievement for the Time Rifts felt extremely time-consuming for me and almost draining.
It's a first-world problem though.
Other than that the only other flaw that still remains for me is that mythic raiding difficulty is too hard. Too hard to get into if you for whatever reason might only have a 75% raid-attendance. I'm saying this as someone with two digit CE kills on their account, but who has more real life responsibilities today.
It really isnt that sudden. She made it clear her goal is to rid the world of Titan influence and originally opposed how the Titans forced their change on dragon eggs. Shes now watching Fyrakk do the same to others. She has always been opposed to this so its now going against her ideals. Its the enemy of my enemy trope. Shes not aligned with the order dragons but at the same time doesnt want to force anyone to do something they dont want to do
Probably the same way the shadowflame empowered him? He wants to corrupt the power of the dream and IMO sever the role and link it has with Azeroth which would also disrupt the life and death cycle which also means affecting Ardenweald. 10.2 will more then likely elaborate on what would happen if he manages to achieve his goal
People? I don't know.
Me? Definitely. I just think it would be neat.
I can see them both disillusioned with their original purpose/drive but not ready to give it up but look for a way to do what they think is right (which might pitch them against their former allies/superiors) and bonding over that, obviously after initial animosity.

except Argus wasnt even plan at the time of release of legion... island below broken shore on map that was original plan for the patch, later removed (thal-something? idk the name)...
when it was removed and people thought it will be scrapped patch like in wod Ion said no, patch will be but we have something else as "T-island" would be just another night elven ruins
Eh that is just content that was cut because it was judged superfluous. At no point was it indicated that would be the endgame content of Legion, just content for it (probably together with the Broken Shore). The level of effort behind Argus absolutely requires it to have been in production for a long time.

Opinions vary. I, for one, hate DF, it's even below SL in my eyes, can't wait to leave it behind, the story and the world in which it takes place are both just so boring to me. At least I can enjoy legacy content.
I respect others' opinion, though, and I'm glad the current expansion makes other people happy.
