For me this video kills the possibility of a world revamp. A visual update is what we are going to get. Why they would bother to update the old world if we were going to get a revamp?

The 10.2 ptr realms are online & playable but its just 10.1.7 that's weird right?

There are 2 sets of PTR realms so they don't have to wait for patches to go live before starting a new PTRm which is a new thing they started doing this expansion.

10.1.5 (wowxptr/ptr2) = Iridikron, Fyrakk, Raszageth, Vyrantoh.
10.1.7 (wowt/ptr) = Anasterian, Broxigar, Benedictus, Lycantoth and Nobundo.

10.1.5 PTR will go down soon/become incompatible and become the 10.2.0 PTR.
10.1.7 PTR will keep receiving test builds before they go onto retail.
