You can have your own interpretation of Warcraft 3 & disregard her internal monologue in the book, but if you're going to do both maybe just say you don't like the character & move on.

Was she? I always took her behavior in Warcraft III as being more that of a spiteful, vindictive upstart dictator than a well-intentioned antihero.

And all of Wow has painted the opposite picture from Classic to SL and every book she's ever been in as had her using them as just tools and not caring about them, So ill take all of that over just the WC3 campaign.

the Sad thing I did like her character a ton up till SL, she was super fun to have around as an unrepeatably evil character who only cared for her self and saw every one else as tools. It's the fan boy's who acted like she wasn't always evil that has ruined her and now one of those fan boy's are in charge of writing her.

The Tyr's Guard questline is super funny if you are under the assumption Tyr will go bad/fight the Dragons, like I do. Especially a certain character obsessed with order.

Even if he didn't knew who she was at first, he would've definitely found out after getting her pregnant, getting Lianne involved and then being shipped to Southshore to keep Terenas from being mad.

That would make sense if the writing in WoW wasn't "you didn't see this obvious twist coming"

You don't seem to detect your own contradiction. The baby came before the Fall of Lordaeron so there would have been no reason to hide Calia's identity at that point. Bolvar was a stormwind noble, he would have recognized the princess of Lordaeron. Her skin might be lighter but she doesn't look any different than she did 30 years ago because white women don't age in WoW for some reason. I get that people assumed Calia died in an undead attack but that doesn't explain why she would think Bolvar & Taelia were dead. They weren't in an undead attack. Because they're not the same people as Calia's family.

So it's more believable that she lost her daughter and husband (which she said) and bolver lost his wife and mother to his daughter and the two are completely unrelated in any sense despite the fact for some unknown reason she appeared in Shadowlands and did nothing but sit next to her not family.


You also can't say she hasn't changed since if you compare her legion model to her current one there's a big difference

Not to rain on your parade but could also be a 10.2.5 thing, perhaps.

One thing I wouldn't mind coming from this is maybe getting some of her outfit (crown at least) as a transmog. Always wished I could have that thing.
