Let's just stop arguing about that, you are clearly not going to change whatever we bring...

As for Fyrakk, do you think they will do a CGI cinematic for 10.2? I doubt it, if they were going to the cgi cinematic like they did for saurfang, they would of started sooner. 10.2 is just going to be usual patch cinematic. the CGI cinematic is most probably going to be for next xpac, which Fyrakk isn't making it

10.2 will feature grass we can walk on.
Better than that - this time we get a grass in which we can swim!

I imagine that if the developers stated they wanted more realistic CGI cinematics, then that is a plan that has long since been cancelled. We have gotten far more cinematics in general though, so it's also possible that something got miscommunicated along the way, and that what the developers actually meant was more pre-rendered cinematics, not just ones using in-game models.

I've said from the start I'm not splitting hairs or arguing about cosmic lore. I made a general post on the thread, you replied to me directly about things I never even mentioned. Simply stating my own opinion on a very minor part of the game. I by no means am trying to argue, or for that matter have my opinion changed by world war 2 comparisons.

If the cinematic is real, it's likely it's being shown today. It's too early for next expansion details to be shown. It's extremely unlikely if its next expansion cinematic to have been leaked this early. So if it is real, and world of warcraft related specifically, it's going to be extremely relevant to the current storyline.

I remember that too, but doesn't make enough sense to start 10.2, we are not sure if there will be 10.3, they had room to make some in SL since the launch cinematic had CGI assets of the zones and important characters, same for Dragonflight launch cinematic. If they are going to give us CGI cinematics, it's more likely to start next exapc, but you never know.
Also, their in game cinematic abilities improved, so they aren't making more pre rendered, but adding more ones that uses your character or in game npc, eye movement and all seem improved, it does take them less time with those. they've been improving them since SL

It was just very weirdly presented. Water walking is a thing we have been able to do in WoW since Vanilla, so it was weird that they talked like this was the first time it was done. ¨
Also how while the opening was very effective, it gave the impression that it was everything the developers were excited about.

It's true that's super soon, but I still don't think they would make cgi cinematic for 10.2. assuming it's not a one off cinematic, but a series like Saurafangs. Unless the next expansion is Elementals based (Although with the Iridikron going to void and stuff, seems Void is more likely), and this story of incarnates will carry on to still be major next xpac, thus they just start today, and continue this cinematic series trans expansion. would be cool, I think there is no one that will say no to a blizzard CGI cinematic. Couple hours and will know

The Saurfang stuff only happened because it was the end of the faction war and doubled as good videos for marketing to people who are only passively watching Warcrafts progress.

I doubt will get anything like that again because it was so expensive... unless we get another huge narrative like that.

No. They literally said "And it has water! Water that you can walk on!". You should look up the video. It sounds so stupid. That entire video was complete dogshit

I saw Ion today getting coffee. He was on the phone talking about the next 10.2 being cyberpunk.

They should have said "Water you can't swim in", since that's the actually notable trait. Walking on water has been a thing since Vanilla.

11.0 will be the big void expansion

YES. EXACTLY. I have also said that before. That was the actual thing that confused me.

Would have been nice if Zereth Mortis was more themed around half finished areas though. What we got didnt seem like much of anything, just a basic landscape. I would have expected more parts of cliffs, or grassy hills with an unnaturally straight border to a lava lake.

    Last-minute predictions time!
    • New Zone - Emerald Dream: Different look than what we've seen from Legion(darker greens, darker browns, purple accents, and a lot more blue)
    • New Raid - Defense of Amirdrassil: Starts with us breaking the siege at the roots, then we going inside the tree with Fyrakk at the heart as final boss
    • Druid legendary; But more likely something similar to the cloaks because I doubt that they'll put that kind of emphasis to it if it's class specific
    • New instanced content like Horrific Visions and Torghast, but they will advertise it as being more like the Mage Tower and as not crucial to player power
    • Faerie Dragon/Chimaera Dragonriding mount
    • Merithra focused questline where she learns to let go of Ysera(but Ysera does not return to Ardenweald until a later patch)
    • A better explanation as to what the Emerald Dream actually is

    For 10.3.0(If there's one):
    • Iridikron and the Harbinger go to Avaloren to use the Titan Facility there(Uldaz) and make allies with the heretics
    • Reforged Tyr leads the charge; Alexstrasza starts to learn more about the real history of the Titans and breaks away from them
    • Tyr gets paranoid after remembering the vision of Alexstrasza being corrupted by the void and turns against us
    • While we are distracted by this conflict, Iridikron and the Harbinger succeeds in plan which leads us to the next expansion

What if the confrontation with Elisande is what triggers Yrel's invasion

I do. For example, the nose design, the eyebrow ridge, the tusks, head shape, body shape, ears, eyes.

Apparently everyone is hyped for a legendary that is used by every specc and i hate that idea. So here are some predictions that will be completely wrong in two hours.

Druid (obviously) Maybe a headpiece, maybe a weapon
Monk (unlikely since its monk, but would make sense if celestial themed)
    Druid+Monk agility staff
Healer weapon or trinket (also unlikely since evokers already have a weapon)
Mage (because i could totally see blizzard ignoring everything that makes sense)
