It just means 10.2 is the final Major patch and 10.2.5 and 10.2.7 will exist with 10.2.7 being the final patch befor 11.0.

This removes the x.3 Standard and moves us to a x.2 Standard which justification is evident based on DF's content cadence being the defense point.

No both were mount drops 1 Dropping from All difficulties and one for Mythic specifically. No AoTC.

No. Gul'dan just had two mounts. A green Infernal that dropped from NM, HC, and Mythic. And a red Infernal for Cutting Edge that became the standard 1% drop rate after.

Have there been mounts for non-final boss AOTCs before? If yes, this means absolutely nothing. If no, there's still the possibility they're doing things differently.

Nah, nope. Never ever have they given us AOTC mounts mid-exp.
Only for the final tier.

If we're getting 10.2 in early/mid November (It def won't come before 1st of November due to Timewalking calendar event), it will last till mid Apr/May next year.

You think they will introduce final patch/raid tier in middle of the summer, 5-6 months before release of new expansion for 20th anniversary? Nah, not going to happen

I'm guessing 10.2.5 is a heavy story patch featuring Alex rebelling against Tyr, but because there isn't a new raid or zone attached (besides Vakthros, everything on the isle has been claimed) it's the last patch.

Could also be Alex AND the Blue Dragons because Titan Arcane theme, Blues not having their own patch story, and Khadgar currently having no purpose.

I know it’s a silly thing to say considering this is the first we see of it on a bigger scale but I just see it as Val’sharah. I expected something much more wild, like a combination of Un’goro, Feralas and Val’sharrah. I dunno, I feel whelmed.

The transcripts in at launch made Tyr seem pretty evil, but I just don't know what they would then showing us the past where he actively chose to sacrifice himself as this big statement of mortal's potential, if he's going to become the villain? It's like taking a fully actualized redemption arc then undoing it.

Yeah, again, I thought he went missing when the Cult of Ragnaros came to the Firelands...

So either A... that's not the real Smolderon and some puppet that was made (which I highly doubt) or B.... the Dark Iron/Cult of Ragnaros storyline was scrapped and he never went missing. Essentially pulling the same shit they did with Neptulon when he got taken by Ozumat but shows up in Legion as if it never happened. (Which is where I'm gonna assume the case.)

Edit: At least in Neptulon's case was due to the scrapped Abyssal Maw raid, which I don't think would've worked if the whole thing was underwater.. but the Smolderon plot would've had legs!
